Liam fixes his tie after putting the chicken parmesan in a warm spot, so it doesn't get cold, and watches as Niall steps down from the stairs. He looks up at the brunette and smiles gently at him, fixing his tie as well with a frown.

"I can't seem to fix my tie correctly today, can you help me, Liam?" The older man smiles a bit and nods; his heart fluttering in the process.

He steps up to the blonde and fixes his tie, looking down at it and focusing on it while Niall stares at Liam's face. The blonde has never noticed how really attractive he is; he has only ever gotten so close to him once.

Looking from a distant spot, you can't see a person's true beauty, you don't get to see their beautiful eyes up close, their small flaws that make them how they are.

Niall can't help but swoon at the man at this moment; Liam is truly a beautiful man, but he can't be with him, not now at least. He doesn't want Liam to get in trouble, and if Liam does like him back, like Louis said, then that makes things worse.

He has only lived with him for a day, but he already knows how flustered the man can get, how he can get angry so fast.

He'll try not to push his buttons because he doesn't want to get hurt, even though he's sure that the older man won't. He just has to be careful around him; he'll try his best to be only kind to the man.

Once Liam finishes with Niall's tie, he steps back and looks down at the much younger boy, biting his lower lip softly. "Are you ready for day two?" He asks the blonde, earning a slight nod from him quickly.

"Yeah; I'm sure I'll get used to the work as the days go on, or I'll just really try my best with what I can handle." Liam smiles and nods firmly before patting the younger boy's back softly.

"I'm sure you'll be fine today, but if you ever need me, you know where I'll be, yeah? Don't be afraid to ask for help, I'll always be there for you." Niall blushes a bit and looks down, messing with his lower button.

"Thanks, Liam. I'll get you if I need help, only you since I really only know you around the office. I could talk to others, but I won't do that till I feel comfortable around there." Liam grins a bit and sighs softly, looking at his watch with a slight frown.

"Work starts in about thirty minutes, do you want some quick breakfast? I can make us some omelettes real quick?" Niall's eyes shine bright before he nods, sporting a gentle smile.

After the two consumed their breakfast, they both got into the older one's car after making sure that they had everything they needed. They did of course. "Day two... Hope there won't be a lot to do today." Niall says, looking down at his fidgety fingers.

The older man looks at the younger one sympathetically, not wanting him to feel this nervous and scared for work.

"You'll be okay, Ni. It won't get hard, trust me. And if it does, for you, I'll lend you a hand, okay? I'm here to assist you." Niall smiles genuinely towards him, grabbing his phone from his pocket after it buzzes. He got a text from Louis.

Message From 💗LouLou💗:

Oi oi, Nialler! Can I come over after you're done with work today! I've really got to talk to you about two people that have been eyeing me up at my work. I hope you'll see yes, mate. Love you lots x

The blonde chuckles softly and texts him back, not noticing that the brunette beside him is frowning and biting his upper lip, hard.

He needs to contain his jealousy before he messes things up between them. Niall is a frail angel and he can't and will never hurt him; physically or emotionally.

He isn't the cold-hearted man that some people make him out to be. The quite opposite is actually how he really is, and that couldn't be more true.

Message To 💗LouLou💗:

Of course you can come.over, Lou! I'd be too rude to say no! Plus, it is also now, partly my house as I'll be paying for a small share of it. I didn't want Liam to pay for everything, even though he tried begging, but it didn't work. I'll see you later x

The blonde then stuffs his phone in his pocket as Liam parks the car with a gentle sigh. He turns off the car as Niall looks over to him. "Louis is coming over once we are done working today, I hope that's okay?" He places a hand over Liam's, as it was still over the gear shift.

The man blushes faintly, but then nods, coughing quietly and moving his hand. "That's fine, Niall.
Thank you for telling me." The blonde grins and nods slightly before leaving the car along with the older, kind man.

Niall and Liam walk into the building together, heading towards the elevator while some people are giving them weird looks.

"What's all the fuss about? Why are they looking at us like that?" Niall whispers into Liam's ear as they wait for the elevator. Liam shrugs while the elevator doors open, then stepping into the small box with his young coworker.

"I'm not sure. Hopefully its just nothing and that those people were just being ignorant and rude. Which they shouldn't be in the first place anyway, towards you, at least." Niall blushes a bright pink shade at the brunette's words; he is way too sweet to him, way too sweet.

A few people with their arms crossed are shown on the other side of the elevator after the doors open, making Niall and Liam frown together as they then walk past them.

"Okay, what the hell is going on?" Liam says angrily, making Niall get goosebumps all over his skin. When the older man cusses, its both scary, and hot. They step into their boss's office while he is typing on his high-tech computer.

"Why is everyone giving the two of us dirty looks? We aren't even together or doing anything wrong, sir." Liam speaks with an angered tone, making the man in front of us sign in content.

"I apologize, you two. There was just a rumor going around that you two were screwing around together, since Horan moved in with you.

I'll clear everything up though because I trust you both already." The two sigh happily and nod together, Liam calming down a bit.

"Thank you, sir. We appreciate that very much." He smiles and nods before getting back to his work, Liam and Niall leaving his office. After the older man closes the door, he looks down at Niall smirking.

"Maybe we'll actually be screwing around soon."
