Cynthia put a hand on her temple.......This guy was getting on her nerves ..she must remain calm.........Orphaned Children Organization was top priority....... the rest can go to hell.....Thought Cynthia....she stayed late..working.......,Marcus Shane may be Charity Programmer and advisor....but it was her office.and project.......she had the privilege to do exactly what she had planned........''Marcus Shane's approval was what she needed........that was complete..now......so on with the next step.......
The office located at the south wing of Phoenix Square .......Kuala Lumpur..............was the perfect place ..for Cynthia to work....
Cynthia switched off the lights and dug out her car keys from her handbag ,, and turned to leave........the red Valentine card she had thrown into the thrash can was on the table...together with a new one......''I LOVE YOU SWEET CAKES'....smile ..the new card was slightly bigger than the earlier one.......'Cynthia threw her handbag onto the sofa in her office ..and picked up the card......and tore it to tiny pieces.........'' I will find you....you creep..who ever you are.......Cynthia said loudly ..then she got her bag and left the office......

"Good night......Sam...........Cynthia replied and walked to her car......she stopped and turned back.

Cynthia drove home.....showered and settled back in bed..but she could not sleep.....'who was that person who has been leaving Valentine cards for her..?......trying as hard as she could..she could not come up with anyone.........her staff knew her well.........perhaps someone was just pranking her...........'' oh hell...she thought ........damn you........Cynthia lay in bed staring at the wall ,,where her late parents photo hung.......they had died in an accident many years ago.........she had grown up bitter,...nothing could bring back their love........
a silent tear escaped her eye lids......the hit and run driver was never found...and Brian Smith a very close family friend and business partner had taken Cynthia in to his wings.....and showered her with so much love....and over the years had introduced many eligible young men ,,but nothing worked out...she just could not trust anyone anymore.......she was happy in her own little world.......no strings attached until.....last morning.......the Valentine card in her file...............the phone rang suddenly...........wondering who it was at this hour.she answered the phone..''Hello....... she answered .........'Stevie wonder's i just called to say i love ....came from the other end'
Cynthia immediately switched off her phone....and settled back in bed..........she pulled the sheets over her head and finally slept
The next morning the office was abuzz...........the staff were all gathered at the lobby... on the counter was a massive bouquette..of red roses..and another Valentine card was there ...with her name on it...
maam this is for you.......the pantry girl......announced.....

Cynthia backed away from her nasty plan......Marcus Shane was begining to drive her crazy....he had no right to laugh at her.....she wowed to teach him a lesson..after the project was over...for now they were working side by side in the same team..and had to tolerate everthing he did
the project to raise funds for the less fortunate was going fast.......The first step was to get sponsors to support the charity show..........Brian had many influential contacts....who agreed to be a part of this program........Cynthia and Arnie.....made sure of talented junior artiste to entertain children
light refreshment was seved for everone ,......a 20 min break.............Cynthia paced in her office.....thinking hard .....who the cuprit was...so engrossed she failed to notice the carpet had a slight tear..her heel got stuck and she lost her balance and would have fallen....a pair of hands caught her and prevented her from falling'
