i remember when you and i used to climb up the hill at night to stargaze.

but that was a long time ago, of course. maybe it was when we were 6?

you held my hand whenever i'd trip on my feet, pulling me up.

you said you'd never get tired of stargazing.

you layed right next to me as we watched the stars slowly move across the sky.

you also promised me something.

my innocent self told you that loved the stars and wondered if i'd ever get to touch one. even have one for myself.

"one day, i'm going to collect all the stars in the sky and i'll give them to you," you had promised.

when we got into highschool, you had asked me out.

then we had dated for a year.

one day,

you started ignoring my texts.

you readzoned me.

you stopped saying your goodnights and stopped giving me your virtual goodnight kisses.

you stopped coming to school.

then, this year, i finally saw you back in school.

but now you think i'm a stranger.
