riley: hey, can i ask you kind of an awkward question

lucas: uh, yeah, sure, i guess

riley: do you have a girlfriend?

lucas: um, no...

lucas: why do you ask?

riley: oh um...no reason!

riley: just curious

lucas: oh..alright haha

lucas: what about you? do you have a boyfriend?

lucas: or a girlfriend, you know, if that's your style

riley: haha no, on both fronts

riley: although, if charlie gardener had any say in the matter, i would be singing a different song

riley: have you ever had a girlfriend?

lucas: charlie's the one that was in your last movie with you, right?

lucas: and oh wow, we're not holding back are we

lucas: i've had one serious girlfriend before, but other than that, just a couple dates here and there

lucas: but it never went anywhere

riley: that's the one

riley: he's nice and i enjoy having him as a friend, but he flirted with me every single day of our press tour

riley: why did you guys break up?

riley: sorry, super personal question, don't feel like you have to answer

lucas: i got the vibe from a lot of those interviews that he was a dick

lucas: sorry, i shouldn't say that about someone i don't know

lucas: and um, don't worry, i don't mind talking about it, it's just...not that fond of a memory

lucas: she hated my friends, didn't tell me for months, but she always tried to find ways to avoid hanging out with them

lucas: then after we were together for about six months, she finally told me, basically forced me to choose between her or my friends

lucas: i didn't want to be with someone who hated my friends, or someone who tried to make me make any kind of choice

riley: i wouldn't necessarily say he's...a dick

riley: he's just got a very excessive personality that doesn't come across well on camera

riley: he's also far too obsessed with trying to tell me about his conquests in order to make me jealous, which obviously hasn't worked so far

riley: lucas, that's so awful, i don't know what i would ever do if someone ever tried to make me choose between them and my peaches
