lucas: hey, so what happened last night? things ended pretty abruptly and i wasn't sure exactly what happened...

riley: yeah, i definitely feel like i owe you an explanation

riley: i'll start first by just saying i'm sorry, things kind of happened so fast

lucas: it's alright, i kind of threw all that on you

riley: honestly and you're fully entitled to be mad at me for this, or make fun of me

riley: when you said that i just freaked out and i hit end, and then i was too embarrassed to call you back and then i just got more and more embarrassed about the whole thing

riley: i'm really sorry for leaving you hanging

lucas: honestly, it's ok

lucas: i kinda talked about it with zay and farkle and while i was originally really upset and mad, they both kind of just convinced me to talk to you

riley: yeah i knew that i had to talk to you, i just...didn't really know how to start the conversation

riley: i really didn't mean to hang up on you it was honestly a mistake

lucas: look i have a feeling that we're about to have a really important conversation and i'd kinda rather do it as in person as we can

lucas: can i facetime you? if you promise not to hang up on me again

lucas: too soon?

riley: yeah i'm not doing anything right now, so you can call me

riley: and no, i definitely deserve it

riley: and you're right, this conversation is very important

um, i feel kind of weird just jumping right in but i'd rather just talk about it now

last night when you told me all that stuff, i felt this weird feeling that i had never really felt before, looking back i think jealousy is the right word for it. (sigh) hearing you say all that stuff about the girl that you liked, made me realize that i wanted to be the girl that you were feeling all that stuff towards

so why did you hang up when you found out that you were

honestly? (humorless laugh) i just freaked out, i had already accepted that it wasn't me that you were talking about, so when i found out that it was i just completely freaked out and didn't know how to react so i just hung up, that's not an excuse but (sigh) that's what happened

i'm not mad at you or anything if that's what you think but can i ask you something?
