Arianna: "LUKE?"- I saw a tall figure come out from behind the fort.
Luke: "Ari..?"- He looked surprised to see me like this. I ran over and jumped into his arms.
Arianna: "DOn't ever scare me like that again, okay? You are only 14, but you mean so much more than you could ever imagine."- I was still being held by Luke, and even though I wanted not to let go, I felt bad about him having to hold me for so long. "Sorry if I weigh a lot..."- I whispered as he set me down.
Luke: "You really don't. Trust me. I have a question though."
Arianna: "Ask away, kiddo."
Luke: "Where's Park?"- His happiness of my arrival quickly came to a stop once he saw that I was hesitant to answer.
Arianna: "He told me about you running away, so we split up to look for you. If it weren't for me, he wouldn't have looked. BUT HE'S LOOKING RIGHT NOW."- He chuckled and looked down at me.
Luke: "You know he still loves you, right?"- I nodded shyly. He pulled me in for another hug, and we stayed like that for a while. I felt tears drip down on my shoulder as I heard almost silent sobs coming from the young teen.
Arianna: "Do you want to tell me why you left?"- I asked while we were still hugging.
Luke: "My dad turned into a monster. He hates everything now. Worst of all, he blames me for Mom's death. He keeps saying I'm a bad luck charm, just like I said right after she died. I couldn't take it anymore, and Park was no help, so I've been staying in this fort, eating at small cafes every day to satisfy my hunger. Without you, Park is different. It's like he's the shell of Park. He's not him anymore. Please help him..."- I pulled away to see his tear stained face.
Arianna: "I will. I promise."- We giggled as we did our stupid tradition of making pinkie promises. I felt like a kid again.
