Honestly, his words made my heart flutter. I decided there was only one thing I could do. Pretend to sleep-talk.

Arianna: "ChimChim..."

Park: "Ari?"

Arianna: "ChimChim I'm coldddddddd."- I rolled around in his arms with my eyes closed.

Park: "Oh, you're just asleep."- If it helps you sleep at night, Park.

Arianna: "ChimChim...?"

Park: "Yes?"

Arianna: "I love youuuuu."

Park: "Aww you're so cute when you're sleeping!"- I could feel him wrap a blanket around me and face away. I turned towards him and pulled him into my arms. This was perfect. I opened my eyes only to see his were closed. I knew it wasn't goo- OH JESUS HIS EYES ARE OPENING!!!

Park: "You're so beautiful..."- My heart was beating faster as he brushed the hair out of my face and placed his hand on my cheek. "I know it's wrong to do this while you're asleep but I can't help myself."- I felt his thumb brush against my lips. "I always thought our lips would be a perfect fit... What if I'm right..?"- I felt his breath on my upper lip as he kissed me. He was right. His lips were a perfect fit. I unconsciously kissed him back.

Park: "Are you awake?"

Arianna: "ChimChim our lips fit peeerrrffeeeecctttlllyyy! I knew they would! I missed you..."- I said sleepily, hugging him. I could practically hear his heart beating faster. Mine was too.

I woke up the next morning, it was 10 AM. Thank god it was a Saturday today. I snuggled into his arms, feeling warmth again. I couldn't sleep any more. I opened my eyes to see his beautiful face in front of me. His hair fell in his face, making him seem even more perfect. WAIT NO WHAT AM I THINKING??? OK BREAKFAST TIME TO TAKE MY MIND OFF THIS!!

I tried to go downstairs to make breakfast, but I felt a hand wrap around mine.

Park: "Stay with me, Ari. Please, just 5 minutes..."- Before I could say anything he pulled me into his arms.

Arianna: "Park I should make breakfast."

Park: "Was that 2.5 seconds 5 minutes? No? Right. Stay with me, please."- That weekend was perfect. I spent the rest of the week with Park and his brother, Luke. I wished it could last forever, but his parents were coming back to live with him for the summer, and I had to go back home. I hated that word. "Home" wasn't home at all. It was the place where I feared for my life every time I tried to sleep. I cried on the way home from the last day of school. Thank god I had everyone's number. About 5 feet before reaching my house I heard my parents arguing.

Dad: "WHERE IS SHE??? WHAT IF SHE'S DEAD!! WE CAN'T PUT HER ON OUR TAXES ANYMORE! OH MY GOD, WE'LL BE BROKE!"

Mom: "She'll come back. Trust me."- I heard him calm down while sitting on the couch with my mom. Then I heard a slap.

Dad: "I'M NOT STUPID! WHAT IF SHE NEVER COMES BACK?"- Was he concerned about me? I stepped into the doorway and ducked, knowing what was coming my way. "WHERE WERE YOU ALL WEEK???"- A beer bottle shattered on the wall behind me.

Arianna: "I was with a friend."

Dad: "You don't have friends. You're too much of a crybaby to have friends, you know that. Even if you do, it's not like they even care about you."- I nodded and set my things down in my room. I could still hear the yelling from upstairs in my room where I felt the cuts sting in the shower. This was going to be the worst summer of my life.
