Chapter 17

Ariana's view

I jumped up quickly, recognizing the voice right away. Him and Eyeball came walking down the small dirt hill, towards me and Gordie. But then Eyeball turned his head, gasping. "Son of a bitch! My little brother."

I turned my head to see the others running over to us. Gabby gripped a hold of Teddy's arm, staying behind him. She never met them. Good thing. But we did. Chris grabbed my hand, seeing the fear on my face. Vern stood behind Teddy, next to Gabby, and Gordie stood off next to Chris.

"You wasn't planning on taking the body from us, was you, Ariana?"Ace asked, stopping in front of us.

"Go away, Ace. We found him. We got dibs,"I hissed, glaring holes into his head.

"We better start running, Eyeball. They got dibs,"Ace laughed, nudging Eyeball, who laughed as well. I heard Gabby ask who they were, and Teddy told her. Gabby gave me and Chris a look of pity after hearing that they were our older siblings.

"We earned him, man. You guys came in a car. That's not fair. He's ours,"Chris added.

"That's not fair. He's ours,"Eyeball mocked him, "well, not anymore."

"There's six of us, Eyeball. Just try to make your move. I dare you,"Teddy pushed. Ace smirked.

"Oh we will, don't you worry."

Just then, Charlie, Billy, Vince, and two other guys came around the corner, standing next to Eyeball and Ace.

"Vern, you little son of a whore. You was under the porch!"Charlie accused, glaring at Vern.

"It wasn't me!"Vern defended, putting his hands up.

"You little keyhole-peeping bung. I oughta beat the living shit outta you!"Billy snapped, pulling out his belt. That pushed Vern to the limit, and he took off into the woods in a run. I watched, but then turned when they spoke again.

"You guys have two choices. You either leave quietly, and we take the body..or you stay and we beat the shit outta you..and we take the body,"Ace suggested.

I swallowed, gripping Chris's hand tighter, signaling that i didn't know what to say. He squeezed back, looking at me from the corner of his eye, showing that it would be okay.

"Besides, me and Billy found him first,"Charlie added, rolling his eyes at us.

"Yeah, Vern told us how you found him. Oh, billy! I wish we never boosted that car! Oh, Billy, i think i just turned my Fruit of the Looms into a fudge factory. Oh-"

Teddy was cut off by Charlie. "Oh, that's it. Your ass is grass!"

Charlie went to go after Teddy, but Ace put his arm out. Gabby clung tight to Teddy, not knowing what to do. She had a big mouth, but she couldn't speak out against 7 guys that would kick her ass no problem. 

"Hold it. Okay, Chambers, you little faggot. This is your last chance.What do you say, kid?"Ace said, staring at us.

"Why don't you go home and fuck your mother some more?"Chris mumbled, but loud enough for them to hear.

Eyeball shook his head with a sigh, as if he only wanted Chris to give in, knowing Ace would do anything for the body. And that's what he was planning. Ace then pulled out his knife, pointing it at Chris, making me flinch, fighting my grip around his hand.

"Your both dead,"Ace growled, stepping forwards.

"Come on, guys, Let's split,"Teddy said slowly, next to us.

"Guys, he has a knife,"Gabby said, her voice getting shaky. I looked up from my brother's death glance over at Chris. I could see the fear plastered on his face, but yet he didn't want to say he was. Teddy was scared shitless. I could see that clearly. Gabby was confused, and scared.
