It was now the weekend. Matt looked around his room.
'What am I going to wear?' he pondered and kept searching.
He grabbed his one NASA hoodie and sighed.
'This will have to do.'
He put the hoodie on and quickly ran a brush through his hair and fixed his glasses.
He checked his phone.
'Hey Matt, wanna meet at the cafe down the street from your home?'
Matt typed back.
'Sure! I'll be there in a few.
He put his phone in his pocket and grabbed his wallet.
He said goodbye to everyone except Katie who was standing at the door.
"What is it Katie?"
"Hmmm where are you going?" she winked.
"I'm hanging out with a friend. Why?" Matt seemed rather flustered.
Katie sighed.
"I know you like him Matt! Why don't you just tell him?" she exclaimed.
"Shhh Katie be quiet!" he covered her mouth, "and you perfectly know why I can't tell him."
Katie took his hand off her mouth.
"I know he shares mutual feelings. I maaayyyy of not hacked into his phone."
"Katie!" Matt covered his face now.
"Ok bro, I'm sorry but I wanted to know!"
"Just don't do it again ok?" he said
Katie nodded.
"Fine."
Matt ruffled her hair and she pouted.
"See ya later." he opened the door and left.
He walked along the sidewalk and pulled out his headphones and turned on his music.
It took him about 10 minutes to make his way to the cafe.
When he walked in Shiro was already there.
He pulled down his headphones and rushed over to him.
"Sorry I'm late Kashi." he sighed.
"Kashi?" Shiro looked at him
"Oh, uh I meant Takashi. I'm sorry." a big blush grew across his face.
"No it's fine. I actually like it." he smiled at Matt and Matt sighed in relief.
"Have you already ordered?" Matt asked and Shiro shook his head.
"Nope, but what do you want. I'll order for us both."
"Tashi no I can buy my own."
Shiro put a hand on Matts shoulder.
"Matt seriously it's fine. Just tell me what you want." Shiro looked down at him and Matt felt his heart melt.
"Fine, I just want a mocha frappe."
Shiro chuckled again then ordered for them.
Once the drinks were ready Shiro handed Matt his.
"Thank you."
"No problem, where to now?"
Matt shrugged. "I'm not sure, what do you want to do?"
Shiros eyes glowed up.
"How about an Arcade?"
Matt giggled. "Sure!" he smiled and took a sip of his drink.
They walked down the sidewalk together until they found an arcade.
Shiro grabbed Matts hand and they rushed in.
Matt blushed at the sight of them holding hands.
"What do you wanna play first?" Shiro asked.
"Whatever you wanna play."
Matt looked over and saw they have DDR.
Shiro followed his stare.
"You wanna play that?"
Matt nodded.
They walked over to the game and Shiro let go of his hand to put coins in.
Shiro got up on the platform and Matt joined him.
Matt smirked over at Shiro. Matt played this game all the time with Katie when they came here but he wasn't sure how good Shiro was.
Shiro choose a random song.
Matt choose his setting.
Hard.
Shiro looked over at Matt.
"Hard eh? Are you good at this?"
Matt nodded. "I'd like to think so."
Shiro choose normal.
Instantly the music started playing.
Matt stared at the screen. Waiting.
Quick as light he started tapping on all of the arrows.
Shiro stared over at him in awe.
Shiro struggled to hit them all.
After the dance was over Matt was breathing hard.
"Its been a while." He looked up at Shiro.
"It doesn't look like its been a while." He complimented.
"I used to come here all the time with Katie when we were younger." He smiled at the thought of her trying to hit all the arrows on time.
They played more games and won a lot of tickets.
Matt struggled holding all of his, Shiro as well.
"What do you think we will win?" Matt laughed.
Shiro shrugged. "Anything you want."
Matt looked over at him while they walked over to the ticket machine and started to put them in.
"Well, it was your money Shiro. So you can get something, I don't care if you have my tickets."
Shiro looked down at him then smiled.
"Alright."
They finished putting all the tickets in the machine then got the receipt.
They made their way to the counter.
Shiro handed the man the receipt and pointed towards a Black Lion on the shelf.
The man grabbed the lion and handed it to Shiro.
"Have a good day." The man said boredly.
Shiro handed the lion to Matt.
"Here."
Matt took the lion and stared at it.
"Aw, thank you Kashi." He went to give Shiro a hug.
Matt suddenly realized his actions and started to blush like crazy.
"S-sorry." He looked down nervously and held the lion close.
"What's there to be sorry about?"
Matt looked back up at him and smiled, still blushing.
Shiro grabbed his hand.
"How about dinner now?"
Matt nodded. "Sounds good but let me pay Kashi."
Shiro sighed. "Fine I'll let you this once."
Matt smiled in satisfaction and they made their way to a diner.
They sat in a small booth across from each other.
Matt placed the lion beside him and grabbed a menu.
"So, Kashi, what do you want to be when you're older?"
Shiro looked up at him from his menu.
"An astronaut." He replied, "You?"
Matt giggled. "Me too."
"We can be astronauts in space together. Promise?"
Matt held out his pinky for Shiro to take.
"Promise."
They ordered their food and ate in quiet.
Matt looked out the window. The sun was setting.
"Man its dark already?" Matt pouted. He didn't want his day with Shiro to be over just yet.
Matt put down money for the bill and grabbed the lion and stood up. Shiro did as well.
"I best be getting you home now." He seemed, disappointed?
Matt nodded.
They left the diner and the cold air sent shivers down Matts spine even though he was wearing a hoodie.
Matt looked at Shiro from the corner of his eye.
He took off his jacket and placed it over Matt's shoulders.
"Aren't you going to be cold?" He asked Shiro.
He shook his head. "No but you were shivering so much I thought you were going to have a seizure."
Matt blushed in embarrassment and wrapped the jacket closer to him.
The rest of the walk home was quiet.
Soon they made it back to Matts house.
Matt started to take off Shiros jacket.
"Here you might want this."
Shiro shook his head.
"Keep it, I have plenty more."
"Ok, well good night Kashi."
"Wait, Matt, just one more thing I forgot."
"Hmm-" Matt was about to ask before Shiro grabbed his face and kissed him.
Matt was shocked at first then kissed him back.
After a moment he pulled away.
"I'm sorry-" Shiro said nervously and ran a hand through his hair.
"I forgot something too." Matt smiled and gave Shiro a kiss on his cheek.
"Good night Kashi, get home safe."
Both boys were blushing like crazy.
"Good night Matt, sleep well."
Matt turned around and walked into his house.
He was instantly greeted with Katie smiling in his face, phone im hand.
"Katie, did you just..?" She nodded and Matt blushed even more.
"It was sooooo cute! I told you he liked you!" She replied excited.
"I'm just going to ignore you and go to bed, I'm tired." Matt smiled and ruffled her hair.
"I hate it when you do that." She pouted but smiled at he brother.
Matt walked back into his room and put on his pjs.
He looked over at the Lion and Shiros jacket that's sitting on his neatly made bed.
Matt put on the jacket and held the lion and laid down.
He went to check his phone and saw he had a message.
'Good night Matt, I love you.'
Matt dropped his phone.
'He does love me!'
Matt picked up his phone and typed back.
'Good night Kashi, i love you too, sleep well.'
Matt smiled and put his phone down cuddling the lion closer to himself.
Soon all his thoughts disappeared and he fell asleep.(WOW SO YEAH HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, YOUR PRESENT IS THIS SHIT UPDATE!!)
