CHAPTER 6

Matts P.O.V
I watch as Katie cleans my wounds. I whence at the pain.
"Matt your fine." She says looking up at me sticking her tounge out.
I also stick mine out back at her.
After a while she finally finishes "fixing me" as she likes to call it.
I thank her and I walk back into my room only to hear my phone buzzing.
I look at the caller ID.
It's Shiro.
I sigh debating on whether I should answer it or not.
I stare at it for a while longer. I end up grabbing it.
I tap, accept.
"What." I say as I open my window and climb to the roof of my house.
"Hey Matt, uh," there's a moment of silence, "what's the matter? I saw you dash off and Katie slammed the door in my face, uh, I don't know."
So that's who was at the door earlier.
"What do you mean you don't know." I say sitting down looking at the view from above.
"I mean like, I don't know what I did? Uhm, you have to tell me Matt, I'm confused."
"Well you didn't seem confused about your feelings earlier did you?" I said with anger in my voice.
"Matt wait is this about All-"
I hang up.
I pull my legs up to my chest and tears start streaming.
"MATT!" I heard a yell from below.
I look down and it's Shiro.
"Why don't you just go away!?" I yell back at him, more tears streaming.
"Matt!! Stop it's not what you think at all!" He pleads
"I'm pretty fucking sure I know what I saw." I say back in a sarcastic tone.
"Ugh, I mean it did look like it but, god damn. I'M NOT WITH HER GID DAMN IT!," He shouts up as me. "THERE'S NOTHING BETWEEN HER AND I. SHE LIKES ME, I DON'T LIKE HER. I DIDNT EXPECT FOR THAT TO HAPPEN MATT, I'M SO SORRY!"
'I just stand there. Is what he's saying true?'
"Really?" It cracks out of my mouth.
"Yes really Matt! Its you, only you! I only want to be with you!," You can see his blush, "I wanted to tell you in a more proper manner but I guess this is a greaaaaat time."
My head spins. 'Only me?'
"I don't know what to say, Shiro. I'm just so confused and hurt." I wrap my arms around my stomach for comfort.
"Matt please, just come down here. It'll be easier so we don't have to shout!" Says Shiro with a small smile on his face.
'Fuck.' I think to myself, I hate it when he smiles like that.
"Fine I'll just come on do-"
I slip on a shingle.
It feels like slow motion.
I hear myself scream, I'm falling.
"MATT!" I hear Shiro yell terrified.
I look down and my head hits the cement.
My body hurts.
I reach out, my vison getting blurry.
Shiro grabs my hand and calls for Katie.
My head tingles. The last thing I hear is Shiro yelling.
"Matt! Stay with me!"

-Shiros P.O.V-

"Matt please, just come down here. It'll be easier so we don't have to shout!" I beg him.
"Fine I'll just come on do-" he said.
He slipped.
I try to run over to catch him but it was too late.
"MATT!" I yell.
Blood, my god there's so much blood.
"Katie!!!!" I shout.
She whips open the door.
"My god Shiro what do y- OH MY GOD MATT!" She screeches.
"HEY CALL 911 IDIOT!" she rushes over to Matt holding him.
"Oh my god, oh my god." She repeats to herself, over and over again.
I dial the number my hand shaking.
Soon the ambulance arrives and they take away Matt. Katie hops into the ambulance, she's already crying.
'This is my fault, this is all my fault.' Keeps repeating in my head. I rush to my car and follow the ambulance.
I have to make sure he'll be ok.
