Jake Green began to feel sorry for what he did to Belle in the cafeteria last week as he looked at the headline of the newspaper.

He folded the the newspaper and stuffed it in his pocket.
Jake Green was an only child. His dad left when he was just an infant, leaving just him and his mom, Margaret Green. Her and her son lived in brick house at the end of the street.
Jake walked up the front steps of his house and opened the door. He was welcomed by the smell of ginger and spice. The scent of savor filled the entire house. He walked inside the kitchen to see his mom pouring steaming water into the slow cooker. Her red hair was tied up in a neat ponytail with a lavender ribbon. She wore a pink apron that was covered in flour and sugar.She hummed as she worked.
Jake cleared his throat. Ms. Green turned her head, ponytail swinging. "Hi Jake!" She exclaimed. Jake chuckled. "Hi mom," He said, "Food smells good." "Thanks hon," She said, giving him a quick hug before returning to her work.
Jake walked upstairs and grabbed his guitar. Jake loved his guitar. He received it as a gift at the age of twelve, he's been playing it ever since. As Jake played, he thought of Belle. Would she die? Will she get revenge on him if she woke up? What if she never woke up? All these questions ran through his mind. She wasn't even ugly.
Yes, as you may have thought, Jake mentally slapped himself for even thinking such things. But he knew he was right. Belle was very pretty. She just doesn't know it. And we wouldn't let her know it either, Jake thought, Now she may die not knowing the Beauty she contains.
Jake felt stupid for causing Belle trouble. He would make it up. He would prove to her that she isn't Ugly Belle, instead she is Beautiful more than she knows.
