Sage's POV...

A million questions hit me when I woke up. I tried stretching but I couldn't. I opened my eyes and saw River sleeping peacefully snoring quietly. His expression while he slept was so cute. All of a sudden, he started talking.

"No candybear! Dont die...I need you!"

He mumbled and snuggled into my neck.

I couldnt help but laugh.

"For a tough guy, ya sure are soft" I say softly.

"What are you doing to me River? You play me like a toy and I feel like IM being used yet I always come back to you" I continued quietly. Tears wealed in my eyes and soon enough, I was crying. Not sobbing. Just tears sliding from time to time with no sound.

"No please. Don't hurt Sage. Please Scarlet kill me" Jake blurted out of nowhere.

What? He was having a dream about Scarlet killing me? Thats just messed up.

"Oh River you are something" I say before looking at the clock.

6:34AM.

Really? I had to wake up at this time?

I decided to sleep in and ditch school since I was doing it all month. Wait. Did I Sage Marine Mathews just say I was missing school all month?

Oh no. What if mum caught me? Probably not. Shes always on business trips. Fingers crossed she didnt know.

I sunk down and slid next to Rivyn.

"If only you were easier to crack" I say before falling into a peacefull sleep.
