Fukase x Ino

Ino's POV

Sakura and I are walking through the village after giving a mission report to Lady Tsunade. I turn to the pink-haired kunoichi as we keep walking.

"So, Sakura!" I say cheerfully. "Since Sasuke left, isn't there someone new that catched your eye?" I smirk at her slyly.

Sakura looked down, the same sad look in her eyes. That made me feel kind of guilty, since I know how much she (still) loves him.

"Not really." She answers. "What about you?"

She smiled at me, but I could tell it was forced.

"Not sure. The guys I know aren't really my type."

"Really?" The pinkette asks, a bit surprised. "What about...Shikamaru?"

I shake my head. "Gumi likes him, also, he's too lazy for me."

"Naruto?"

"Nope. He's kinda hot, I'll admit that. But, I don't like him that way."

"Len?" Sakura suggests.

"He likes Hinata."

Sakura facepalms. "Completly forgot about that."
"And what about Fukase?" She asks, tired of our little 'Question & Answer' game.

"The red-head?" I ponder upon this thought. "He IS cute, but a little weird, don't you think?"

"Nah, that's just how he comes off, he's actually a really sweet guy."

"I think th-"

"Sakura-chan! Ino-chan!"

We turn aroud to find Gumi Megpoid, the one and only green-haired kunoichi, running towards us.
She's our age and a member of team 9, together with Piko Utatane and Fukase (no lastname).

"Hi Gumi-chan." Sakura and I greet her while smiling.
It's impossible not to smile when your around this girl. She's the happiest and sweetest person in the entire elemental nations.

"I heard you guys just came back from a mission." The green-haired girl states, her face holding a grin that puts the sun to shame. "You must be really tired."

"We actually rested before coming back." Sakura anwers.

"GUMI!" A shout was heard in the distance. "WHAT DID WE TELL YOU ABOUT RUNNING OFF LIKE THAT?!" 

The rest of Team 9 runs our way. Piko with knitted brows, obviously annoyed, and Fukase with an amused expression.

"Sorry." Gumi smiles sheepishly.

"Hi Sakura-san, Ino-san." The silver haired boy says, while his red-haired friend just waves shyly.

His eyes land on me and linger for a few seconds.
"How did your mission go?" He asks.

"Without any setbacks." Sakura says. "As always." I finish proudly.

Fukase's eyes flicker to me every now and then. He taps Piko's shoulder, panic visible in his eyes.

"Um, we should probably leave. We're kinda busy." The silverhead states, noticing the other male's discomfort.

"No, we're not. What are you ta-" Gumi starts, but is interrupted by Piko covering her mouth with his hand.
