Fight Like A Girl

Chapter 3

~Skip the journey to the new house~

I looked out of the van window and saw the house. There were gaps between each house on the street. I opened the door, of the van, and saw high school students. I avoided eye contact and ran to mum and John, to help them unload the van. I walked through the doors, of the new house, and walked around, the bottom floor.

MUM: "You can have any bedroom you like."

ME: "Kk. I'm gonna go upstairs and check it out."

JOHN: "I'll help you unpack, if you fancy it?"

ME: "No thanks. I'm fine."

I went upstairs and instantly fell in love with the first bedroom I saw. It was quite big and it had a small stage. I could play my music there or even make YouTube videos. I instantly ran downstairs and told mum and John that I wanted that room. They went upstairs to see it and mum new that I had a connection with that specific room, so they agreed that I could have it.

I unloaded some of my things and just stared out the window. I noticed that there were a lot of shops so I ran downstairs to grab my coat.

ME: "Mum, can I go into town and just walk around?"

MUM: "As long as you're not home too late."

ME: "Thank you. See you later."

I rushed out the house and went into the first shop I saw, which was Pets At Home. I saw so many cute animals and just wanted every single animal in the shop, even the rodents. But I knew that mum and John wouldn't say yes, so I left before I lost control. As I left the shop, I saw some high school students coming from the way that all the other shops were. I didn't want to be seen by any of them, so I went back home.

JOHN: "How comes you're back so soon?"

ME: "Um ... I don't wanna see everything today. I wanna save all the adventure for a boring day."

Before John could say anything else, I went upstairs, to finished unpacking, and went to bed.
