"JOEY WHERE ARE YOU" Joeys mother called as she walked up out of the castle in their back yard. At this time Joey was only 7 and he loved paying with the mystical creatures that passed by their palace as they walk with their little ones.
"I'M ALMOST DONE MOTHER JUST HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE TO HOPE". He yelled back to his mother as he was walking with this little girl right next to him. She had a flower crown on and was wearing this beautiful dress that looked like she was the daughter of mother nature with these vines crawling up her dress and flowers everywhere. But actually she is a mystical creature of flowers. Her house is actually a flower. Her mother is a flower Gardner but not in the way you think of.
(A/N you'll see what i'm talking about later in the story.)
"Ok darling but remember its getting late it too dangerous at night". what shes taking about is that there are a lot of scary monsters that come and like to take people away and turn them into this demonic versions of yourselves. Its what they do. How they eat, my mother and father (King and Queen) always told Joey.
"Bye hope" Jo whisper to her and give her a flower crown that Joey tried to make. "JOEY THANKS SO MUCH" Hope screams as she is hugging Joey. "Anytime" joey replies back with a huge smile on his face. "I gotta go, i need to say bye to my other friend." hope says as she separates from the hug. "Whose your other friend" Joey asks curiously. "Its just a friend in the village, i would bring him over to have you too meet but your a prince and hes just a peasant so i don't want to get in trouble."She says putting her head down. "Its ok i understand, i was just wondering, you always go and see him after you see me so i was just curious." Hope smiles and gives Joey a kiss on the cheek. She always does that to everyone. Every time she kisses someone on the cheek you can see ripples of flowers on their cheek. It means that They are themselves and they are not taken. Its a way of telling the mystical creatures what to be afraid of and what and what not to be afraid of.
After hope left Joey and his mother held hands and walked up to the Castle where they would eat their dinner. "Mommy?" Joey said to his mom as they were eating their dinner. "Yes Joey" His mom replied back. "What does gay mean?" Right as joey asked that question everyone on the table such as joeys sister Nicole, his father, and his mother dropped their silverware. Even the butler Sedrik while he was carrying the deserts.
"What did you say?" His father asked "Gay, what does gay mean?" Joey repeated himself. "Now where did you find a word like that?" His father chuckled as he asked that question. "Hope." everyone looked at him even their cat Greyson which was not very bright so this was a bad situation if the cat knew what you were talking about. "Now you listen to me son," His father said to him sternly. "Never ask those questions again" At this point Joey looked at his mother and he saw something that scared his life forever. After his dad started yelling at him talking about how being gay is that the same sex such as boy and boy get together and date. But he didn't say it in the way you thought he would. He said it like it was the worst thing ever, Joey just kept looking at his mother and he noticed that his mother was just staring at him in this death stare. Finally The king noticed and turned around to see what Joey was staring at. " Debra," the king said to Joeys mother."I got this." She said to him.
"NO DEBRA DONT DO THIS TO OUR SON" His father yelled "YES WE DO" she yelled back. "NO, you don't know for sure yet." Said Joeys sister. "YES I DO." She then got up and walked toward joey and grabbed his arm. "MOM WHAT ARE YOU DOING" he then started kicking and yelling to his mother from pain from her grabbing his arm to hard and leaving a bruise on his wrist. "I'm going to show you what iv'e been hiding from your you whole life a little earlier than usual." After she explained all about their family history and about how his Great great great grandfather was gay while they were walking up the long stairs. But to joey it didn't make sense all he did was ask about What did gay mean. Then she explained how she was not who we thought she was. when we finally reached the top of the castle where there was this library of these potion bottles and a book that did not read English but the only other language other than English in this kingdom. witchery. "Mom what is this?" He asked frighteningly. "This is me"
Joey turns around and sees his mom with a different attire on. She was wearing this black dress and her skin was pale. her hair was up like Frankenstein's wife but a little shorter.
( A/N Sorry i had no other description i tried to make it as serious as possible but i couldn't help but laugh at what i just put.)
She also had rip marks on the bottom of her dress and her leg was showing on one side of her dress and on the other was completely covered up. "Mom what are you doing?"
"I AM NOT YOUR MOM" The witch yells back. " your mom was taken years ago." "what do you mean." Joey asks back."
" YOUR MOM HAS BEEN TAKEN A YEAR AFTER YOU WERE BORN." Immediately Joey started tearing up and sooner or later the witch comes closer. "AND NOW YOUR NEXT" after she said that she ran up towards Joey and tried to hit Joey like she was going to banish him from existence.
Soon the witch falls back and sees a clear bluish bearer covering out his whole body like an angel from heaven protecting him. "NO IT CANT BE" she yells as she runs back out he door from the library. "ILL BE BACK FOR YOU JOSEPH IF ITS THE LAST THING THAT WILL EVER COME ACROSS ME" she yelled again and then ran away from the palace as far as possible and runs to the forest where the monsters lay at night.
Just as she leaves into the forest Joeys sister and father quickly ran up to see what happened. "JOEY WHAT HAPPENED" Nicole said as she turned joey over. he was unconscious. " DAD LOOK" He then came closer and saw this scar on his wrist and looked like a capital W. " Dad what does that mean?" Nicole asked "It means Witches." he replied looking at the scar. "And what does that mean" she asked me again. " It means hes not like us and he has never been." " Does that mean what i think it means?" "Yes, it means... it..it... Means,
It means he's Next."
A/N Hey everyone thanks for reading my first chapter of Witches. next chapter will probably be tomorrow or something and i'm probably thinking about deleting my other book and focusing on this one instead what do you guys think. See you in the next chapter Peace XD.
