I can tell you that they were not safe. The witch was still after them and joey's powers has gotten worse right when they were getting ready to move.
Daniel- are you ready?
Joey- I guess. wheres anna?
Daniel- outside come on.
They said good bye to Daniels mother and headed off to their adventure. Well a horrific one anyway.
Anna- Daniel?
Daniel- yes
Anna- where will we go?
Daniel- don't worry I know somewhere where we could go.
They all three of them walked into the forest where there layed a house there just small enough to fit all three of them.
Daniel- told you I knew a place
Joey- well I guess we are staying here until things quiet down.
*a couple hours later*
After their dinner Daniel had cooked. Joey took Anna to her bedroom to go to bed.
Anna- joey?
Joey- yea
Anna- what's going to happen to us
Joey- what do you mean?
Anna- well when the witch comes and finds us what will happen?
Joey- don't worry nothing is gonna happen to us ok were safe.
If this was true the book would have ended chapters ago but its a good thing life goes on.
While they all were sleeping. Where Anna was in her own room sleeping peacefully on her bed. And where Daniel and joey slept in another room cuddled up against eachother and slept peacefully as well. Joey hears a big bang on the door. He quickly wakes up to get it.
Joey- hello?
No one
Joey walks out of the house and sees no one but this black figure.
Black figure- (*whispers in a really creepy way*) J O E Y
Joey- whose there?
Black figure- C O M E. H E R E
Joey- no in not going to.
The black figure slowly starts to fade away.
Joey- hello?
As he turns around back to the house the door shuts in front of him and then.....
Silence
Joey- turns around again and there it was the black figure just staring back at him.

The black figure comes closer.

Next thing that happened was the black figure turned back and walked back deeper and deeper and deeper into the forest.
Joey wakes up to find Daniel laying next to him but not in the same bed he was just 5 min ago.
Daniel- morning my love?
He says in a groaning voice.
Joey- Morning- Dan-NY
He looks around the room like he didn't recognize his own bed.
Daniel- What's wrong?
Joey- where are we?
Daniel- At home silly
Joey- Home?
This didn't look like home to joey this looked like a total strangers house. Only the house looked well different.
Daniel sits up and rubs joey's back.
Daniel- are you ok?
Joey- I was sleeping?
Daniel- of course you were.
Joey- the whole time?
Daniel- well all night since last night. You haven't been feeling well for the past week and you were asleep mostly all week so probably you've been having the same dream. Joey- But it felt so real and Anna- Wheres Anna? Daniel- Joey whose Anna?
