*execution day*
Guard:wake up lover boys time for your last hours on earth.
they take us to the arena
A/N (sings the arena song) okay ill stop now.
They put Daniel and me on the stick because i'm a "witch" and it's just a proper way of killing them off
King: WE ARE GATHERED HERE TODAY TO KILL OFF THESE NEGATIVITY AROUND OUR KINGDOM AND FINALLY SLEEP IN PEACE.
Wow they really must want us dead
King: IT WILL BE A TRAGEDY OF KILLING A ROYAL BUT IT MUST BE DONE
he says in a dirty looking face looking right at me. but my sister is there crying that she has to see her little brother burn in her own eyes.
Joey: It's gonna be ok
I say in a whisper but in a way where she could read my lips and understand.
King: DANIEL ANY LAST WORDS
Daniel is silent just looking at his mother while his mother is crying too. i dint even need to hear it. because of what i just did three days ago made him where he is today about to die because of my uncontrollable feelings inside me
King:OKAY THEN JOEY ANY LAST WORDS.
Joey: I'm so sorry Daniel. i say where he could only hear me
Daniel: For what?
Joey: For putting you here if it wasn't for me kissing you you would be right there with your mother.
Daniel: Joey that wasn't your fault it is your fathers i'd rather die than having to lose you. at least well be together.
And that's what i thought. I'm not going to let Daniel die so i thought i could protect him
King:SO NOW I HEAR BY DECREE BOTH OF YOU BEING EXECUTED.
And with that i tried my hardest to use my powers. And i did
within minutes they lit up the fire and i didn't even feel like it and neither did Daniel instead of Daniel and i burning to death the fire started going around us and the smoke going into the sky
Daniel: Whats happening. are you doing this?
i still have my eyes closed and then something happened by eyes just went black but not only that i wasn't myself i was in myself but i wasn't controlling myself it was like i was being possessed or like the black magic was controlling me.
Daniel's pov
King: WHAT IS THIS GUARDS KILL THEM OFF
Joey: I WOULDN'T PLAY WITH MAGIC IF I WERE YOU.
I quickly look up and all i see is joey having black eyes and stuff that looks like black veins crawling up his face
Daniel: Joey what are you doing?
Joey: PROTECTING YOU. he says in a loud darkening voice. Then i see this black looking blood running down his nose.
Daniel:JOEY YOUR HURTING YOURSELF STOP IT
Joey:I CAN'T
King:WHATS GOING ON DOWN THERE.
then everyone starts panicking when they see the fire blazing all around us. Then suddenly it stopped. Everything stopped. The fire was running down and everyone was quiet even the king all we were looking at was joey he was knocked out then soon so was i.
Joey's pov
It was blurry. everything was blurry. It was dim. Really dim. All i heard was my sisters voice talking to Daniel.
Daniel: oh my god hes awake
Joey: What happened
Daniel: You blacked out
Joey: No i know that, But what happened really why are we not dead and why is Nicole here.
Nicole: Because i'm taking you away from here
Joey: Why. Why didn't father kill us
Nicole: because you were to strong. There was this force that wouldn't let anyone touch you.
Joey:Then how did you take me out here into... into. wait where are we
Daniel: We are at my house
Joey: how did you get me in here if you couldn't touch me
Daniel: because for some reason it didn't hurt me. i carried you here
Joey: oh, wait wouldn't this be the first place they will look for us.
Nicole: Joey they are not finding you. Father completely banished you and Daniel from the kingdom.
Joey: Then why am i still he-.
I couldn't even finish when i looked at Daniel in shock. was he the guy they were looking for or is this is all black magic.
Joey: Wait so your the guy they were looking for?
Daniel just looks down and then looks back up
Daniel: I'M so sorry it's just...
Joey: just what" i say to him as i lean in closer to hear hi explanation
Daniel: it's just that my mother and i we are really poor and when we moved into the house it was close to your kingdom. but my mother told me not to go there because i could get into trouble but i only told her i was going there to get some food and when i bumped into you by the crystal shop, I fell in love.
Joey: So you stayed and risked yourself for me.
Daniel: yes
Joey: But Hope told me that you knew her from the village years ago.
Daniel: Well that's the thing. i used to live there but then they kicked us out because we couldn't work because my father past away just a year ago so a couple months later we were kicked out of the kingdom because we just couldn't afford staying there and no one would take me for a job because i am still in school.
Joey: I'm so sorry for your loss with your father.
Daniel: It's fine really he was a jerk anyway
Joey: Well at least we have something in common
