When someone tells me something weird or something they can't do I do not judge I ask first why? So I ask you this why make a personal comment on something you know nothing about? Why tell someone you love them when you knew nothing about love? Love is like an illusion you see it but you don't get it.

Seven years later

It was a great morning to just lay in my bed, to hold on to the dream of my dad holding me tight spinning me around. I heard a beeping and my eyes lifted like rose petals blooming. My cat rustled under the covers. I skimmed my hand across the table in search of my phone chirping with a lovely five A.M. wake up call that was very unwanted. My eyes refusing to stay open I silenced the phone and curled back into my duvet very satisfied with this decision, not even thinking about the fact I needed to get ready for school. I always found it hard to get up and depart such a good dream, at least the ones about my dad.

~Forty Minutes later~

My response to the sound of my brother yelling for me to get up was to cuddle into my cozy sheets. Why did it feel so great to sleep in when you had to get up? My thoughts became more distant as I drifted back to sleep, pulling me in. Still unaware of the fact I really needed to get up to get ready for school. Alas I was pulled from my slumber again Drews voice ripping through the fog of sleep engulfing me.

"I swear Piper." Drew joked.

I could feel something hovering over me the question was did I want to find what that thing was? I squeezed my eyes half hoping it was just my cat but of course I was wrong, did I really think the lazy cat would be awake. This time my response to my persistent brother was a loud girly scream. Drew was standing over me making faces with his tongue. "You have the qualities of a three year old." I spat at him jokingly.

"Haha yeah you're definitely awake the insults have begun. Besides do these babies belong to a three year old?" He was referring to the biceps he was flexing while making kissy sounds to them.

But I didn't just hear his laugh a deep warm laugh was there to. I looked at my door my brothers friend Colby innocently propped his body in between my doorway. Colby sleeped over when ever he please, it was almost like he lived here. He waved his hand at me in a goofy way. My eyes remained on him for a moment noticing his shirtless broad chest. Panic struck me when I realized how I may look I stuck my tongue out at my brother quickly sliding under my covers.

"Just let me stay home!" I pleaded really not wanting to exit my room or my comfort.

"Fat chance, if I have to go so do you! Unless you're gushing blood or puking your brains out." Drew joked.

"Spare me the dramatics." I scowled under my covers.. ugh brothers.

I bit my lip thinking of something to say. I couldn't just stay hidden under the covers forever, with shirt less Colby in my room, an annoying brother, and a ticking clock leaving me with almost no time to get ready.

"Get out and I'm up!" I smiled from ear to ear, it was fun fighting with Drew.

"Ooo feisty are you sure you want that ride to school?" Drew replied while his footsteps softly padded across my carpet shutting my door.
