Zeroro sniffed as he looked down at his now smashed clay project. Those senior bullies had seen the tadpole walking from the art room with his precious masterpiece and decided to rough him up a bit, before holding him down as he watched all his hard work shatter.

The project had taken him a whole month to plan out and create in class; not to mention all the work after school. It was a small, brown colored train for his little brother who had been having a hard time at school, but in his creative kindness, Zeroro had forgotten his own school problems. Despite being able to make more friends recently, he was still an outcast, and those bullies were reminding him of that.

Blue fingers gripped blue skin as Zeroro dug his hands into his shoulders. He squeezed his stomach as a punishment for being so stupid to think that something bad wouldn't happen to him if he stayed after school. Something bad always happens to him when he was trying to do something nice.

The tadpole was about to squeeze harder when he heard footprints approach. Zeroro whimpered at the thought of the bullies coming back for round two; and nearly bolted at the feeling of a hand on his back. It wasn't until the figure said his name in a gruff voice that he stopped shaking. Such an angry..and familiar voice. Oh what a wonderful voice!! Zeroro's head screamed as he turned and fell into the red chest of his best friend.

"Giroro-kun! They broke it! They broke it..." he sobbed loudly, his voice being taken over by heaving and hiccuping.

Now his family had never been an affectionate one; leaving Giroro with no idea of what to do for his shaking friend. It was clear to anyone walking by what had happened, and with the implied "they" from Zeroro, it didn't take long for two and two to come together. First they stole the base, then the harassment at training, and now beatings! Those seniors were gonna pay when Giroro got his hands on them, or even worse, if Garuru got involved.

The red tadpole was snapped out of his thoughts when Zeroro looked up at him with puffy eyes. "W-why is everyone so mean?"

Giroro looked away before sighing. "I don't know...get up Zeroro. You aren't going to solve any problems just sitting here." he said going into the art room and carrying out a trashcan and broom. He roughly shoved the broken project into the trash, leaving behind many small pieces for the janitors.

When Giroro came back from putting away the materials, Zeroro was already standing up and wiping away his tears. He was fiddling with one of the wheels that hadn't been picked up. "Thank you Giro-kun." he muttered clinging to his arm.

Giroro gulped and looked away as they began to walk down the hall. "Yeah...don't mention it."

"Giroro?" the blue frog called out setting his hand on his friend's shoulder. The older frog blinked and shook his head before looking up at his assassin friend. "Are you alright?"

Giroro smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I'm alright." Zeroro seemed to smile underneath his gas mask before going to the door of the attic as Keroro called them down. They were heading to Pekopon today, and each frog had taken the week to spend time with loved ones and look through all their old belongings.

Zeroro disappeared through the door and called for his friend. Giroro took one last look at the cracked wheel in his hand, before putting it back into the box and pushing it to a corner. It would be there when they got back from conquering the planet...however, they wouldn't be coming back.
