(Hello everyone. Thank you for being patient and still reading my one shots. School has been really difficult lately and while I am growing in my English course, the teacher is quite strict and I found that nothing I write anymore seems good enough. But the course is coming to a close and I am now going to use the skills I have been taught to write better stories for all of you.)

“Attention!!”

Backs straightened and feet came together as a dark orange Keronian scanned the three troops of his team. “Private Koruru! Report!”

A small gray tadpole with three connecting dots that formed a triangle on his hat jumped slightly and stepped forward. “A-all engines on the hovercrafts have been triple checked and cleaned to prevent malfunctions. All of the provisions o-on the list are inside of each crafts storage unit, sir.” He stuttered through, letting out a huge sigh of relief as the commander nodded for him to step back into formation.

“Specialist Cebaba!”

“Yeah, we’ve got  over twenty different types of guns, bombs, and a little thing that you throw on the ground to evaporate everything around you.” Cebaba, a light purple keronian, muttered.

“W-we won’t have to use that right?” Koruru asked, stepping slightly out of formation to look at Cebaba. “Cause...I don’t think I want to be evaporated.”

“Cebaba will not be evaporating anyone.” You interjected, stepping closer to the commander. “All machines have been checked and repaired, we have all of our supplies and all of our defenses are fully functional. Everything is ready so can we please invade now?”

The commander paused for a second before nodding. “Everyone to your stations.” he ordered. Cebaba and Koruru quickly walked to their seats to prepare for landing, and you were about to follow before a dark orange hand stopped you. “I hope your previous connections with a certain Sergeant Major will not affect your performance in the field, Intelligence Officer (Y/N).”

You stood in silence for a moment before lowering your head. “My past experiences will not affect my actions, Commander Zekoko. I can promise you that.”

He nodded and sent you off to your seat, with two clenched fists.

*****

The explosions were louder than you had expected them to be as the battle between platoons raged on outside the ship. Zekoko was quick to notify the A.R.M.P.I.T. platoon that they would be taking over Earth and t didn’t take long for their advances to quickly be met by hostility. Cebaba was currently attempting to blow the heads off of the Corporal Giroro, while Koruru and Zekoko were doing everything within their power to prevent the Private Tamama and Lance Corporal Zeroro from interfering with you. Keroro, the so called famous Sergeant, was nowhere to be seen.

None of that really seemed to matter to right now though. You weren’t interested in the bombs or even completing the Invasion of Pekopon. The only reason you came was to see him.

The day it had been announced that Kululu was going to be trained for an invasion mission to Pekopon, you two were in the one of the base’s labs working together again on a project. After the first success, the higher ups began pairing you together more and more until no one bothered to assign you two together; you both would already be halfway through designing. There was just something about you two that connected so well, and the more you two worked together, the more you both adored one another.

“(Y/N)!!” Your commander’s voice slowly dragged you from your memories as you noticed you had stopped your attempts to hack into the enemy’s computer system. “Have you infiltrated their systems and discovered their base?”
