Hey, I forgot to mention, I'm not J.K. Rowling. So, I don't own any characters. So, don't sue me. Uhm... Yeah, that's about it. Also, Sorry if I mess up any British-isms, I am definitely NOT British.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

After the Marauder's laughter and nostalgia subsided, Remus spoke, "Well, that was a little more violent than expected. I didn't realize I was so... angry." he sounded almost ashamed

Sirius let out a bark, "Remus, that was brilliant, and anyone who can make you that mad deserves it. besides, it's not like we can make these things happen!" James nodded in agreement.

Remus sighed, "I guess so. But anyway, I believe it's someone else's turn. Hmm, James, you go."

Sirius pouted, "Why does he get to go?" James snorted at the look on his face

Remus sighed, "Because," he spoke as if talking to a five year-old, "you, Padfoot, will just kill him in the most violent way possible, I'm giving you time to get creative." Sirius sighed, but knew he was right. Remus saw this and smirked.

James then, realizing Remus had won cleared his throat, "Eh em! It all begins in the Great Hall of 1975! We-"

"Wait, Peter was okay then, why are we punishing his past?" Sirius asked, befuddled enough to defend the then soon-to-be traitor. James narrowed his eyes at the interruption, and Sirius held up his hands, "Hey, you said nothing about interruptions!"

James sighed, Sirius was annoying, but right. He shook his head and continued, "Anyway, I was about to say, before SOMEONE rudely interrupted, We, the Marauders of 1998, have time-traveled. We brought along the traitor to show his precious Doreas McKinnon-"

"The girl he had a crush on for like, 3 years?" Sirius asked, once again interrupting

James huffed, "One, stop interrupting. Two, yeah, she was Marlene's sister. But you should know, considering you didn't stop snogging poor Marlene during our entire 7th year!"

"How would you know? You were too busy snogging Evans!" Sirius retorted

James glared and Remus Stepped in, "Okay you two, knock it off." As close as the two were, they were like brothers, which meant they often fought like only brothers can. Both Sirius and James jumped, he had been so silent, they forgot he was there.

James let his heart slow before resuming, "So, we brought him back to show his precious Doreas what he has become, but we time it just right, so that we appear in the Great Hall at breakfast, when she has her daily honey-banana-peanut butter oatmeal." Both Remus and Sirius gagged, they both thought the very idea of such a meal was disturbing

James chuckled, "Continuing on, Just as she's about to take her first bite, we storm in, in true Marauder fashion, carrying a gagged up Peter, we declare the true, that Peter Pettigrew will grow to be a traitorous, lying, idiot, who gave themselves to Voldemort. We then prove it with his Dark Mark. Poor Doreas will be so shocked, she will proceed to dump her delicious breakfast all over his head." Remus and Sirius couldn't stop laughing at this point, they both remembered Doreas, with a temper to match Lily's, and the fist to match, she scared off many a man, but Peter was either to stupid or- no, he was just to stupid to realize how dangerous she was.

James smiled bitterly, she had punched him once, after he asked her out in third year (which was way before he liked Lily) he rubbed his arm, a ghost pain still there these many years later. He shook his head of his daydreams, "After that, we lead the Great Hall to the lake, where we have already promised the mermaids compensation for all those times we dyed the lake neon colors, the thing they hate most, a traitor." Both boys nodded, the mermaids of the Black Lake were fiercely loyal, to Hogwarts, Dumbledore, and of course, those that treated them with respect.

"Well, we bring dear Pettigrew to the edge of the Lake, declaring he needs a bath, after having such a foul mess dumped on him, we throw him in the lake, still bound and gagged, we don't need any begging from the pathetic rat." Remus and Sirius nodded their agreement, "and you guys remember the Giant Squid's affinity for honey right?" Again, both men nodded, "Well, we let the squid have fun for a while, let it have it's fun and then, have it bring Pettigrew to the mermaids, where they can have their fun with the filthy-" he let of a string of swears, none of them pretty, "That way, we don't have to see him die, get none of the blame, since the mermaids did it, and, to top it all off, if he doesn't die, he'll probably end up a pet for the mermaids!" James said, finishing in an over-dramatic, yet elegant, bow.

Sirius and Remus were both, literally, on the ground, laughing as they imagined Peter on a leash, being walked(swam?) around the bottom of the lake by the mermaid that claimed him. AS the boys laughed, they had no idea what was going on on the other side of the afterlife.

---

Peter was in pain, the mermaids were letting him slowly and painfully die, he was sure of it. he was being treated like the grindylows that surrounded him in the other yards of the merfolk, being fed a mash of fish and algae once a day and being walked once a day, the only difference was that he had a small bubble around his mouth that allowed him to breath. However, he was slowly starving. Thankfully, it wasn't nearly as painful as the last death, and yes, he remembered the entire thing, he supposed it was part of the whole 'karma' thing. This was a different pain, a dull one that wouldn't go away. He also felt an ache in his chest, his heart he supposed, the look on Doreas face when she heard the truth, It was a gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, look of undisguised disgust. He was slowly feeling the full impact of his decisions.

Haha, I want a pet Pettigrew! Then again, I'd get arrested for animal abuse... Anyway, I made this one a bit more light-hearted(I hope!) Because, I felt that Remus had the most anger pent up, he lost everyone of his friends because of Peter, and lived through war because him too, he didn't let it out because he had to remain strong, and finally, he could. James, however, had 16 years of venting, and has since gotten over the anger, and now just wants sweet revenge.

Enough of the explanations though!
