Chapter. 50

Shad, Chris and I drove over to Zach and Stace's house. Or Zach's house now I don't know.

I drove up to the house and got out, I fast walked to the door. I felt someone grab my wrist, I turned around.

"I know you want to find out what happened, but remember you're 6 months pregnant. So take it easy a bit" Chris said to me, I nodded at him. Shad was at the front door knocking. Zach answered the door, remind you Zach is like 6'6 and Shad is like 5'4.

"Who are you?" Zach asked Shad, Shad looked up at Zach. He started to back up slowly.

"You know ah, I don't really know Stace. So Chris, Charlotte you can take this one" Shad said walking back to us.

"What are you guys doing here?" Zach asked, I walked up to the porch where he was. I looked in the house and saw there was garbage everywhere, pizza boxes on the floor. Random bits of dog food? What is this man doing.

"Looks like you're doing well" I said looking at him, he had sweat pants that had all sorts of stain on them. A black shirt and he had a beard growing.

"What do you want?" He asked rolling his eyes.

"Why did you break up with Stace?" I asked him, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Ask her, she's the one that cheated" Zach told me with annoyance across his face.

I scoffed at him. "Like I'd believe you" I told him, he shrugged.

"Whatever, she's the one who would stay out all hours of the night every night" Zach said closing his door. Chris stopped the door closing with his hand.

"She wasn't done talking" Chris glared at Zach, Zach nodded respecting Chris and opened the door again.

"What else was she doing?" I asked Zach, my eyebrow raised.

"Traveling to Seattle every weekend" Zach told me, I breathed out loud. I don't know if I should tell Zach this.

"She has a sick brother" I breathed out.

"What?" Zach and Chris asked to me.

"She has a brother who has been diagnosed with some type of sickness. I forgot what's it called. She didn't tell anyone cause she didn't want to worry her friends" I told them.

"Mkay" Shad said walking up to us. "She has a sick brother and hasn't even told her fiancé. What?" Shad asked, he was confused about why and I was too at first.

"Stace doesn't like people worrying about her, she doesn't like being questioned or people asking if she's okay" I told them, Stace just doesn't like the attention.

"Well.... I feel like shit now" Zach hung his head. I breathed out heavily.

"Let's go Zach" I said walking towards the car.

"What?" Zach asked.

"We're going to find Stace?" Shad asked sticking his head out the window of the car.

"Yes, now are you coming or not Zach?" I asked him, he was standing in the doorway still.

Chris got in the car and I opened the drivers door, I looked over to Zach jogging over to the car.

I got in and dialed Stace's phone number. "Everyone sshh I'm calling Stace".

"Hello?" Stace said.
