CHAPTER 7
I woke up at around 11 AM on that Friday. Thank God we don't have school. My head was still foggy from everything that happened. Without Jake, my night would've been perfect.
After getting out of bed, I went and changed clothes for today. I went with simplicity today; leggings paired with blue jean patterned vans, with a white tank top with some old Disney show quote. For some reason I was absolutely in love with that shirt. Don't ask.
Thoughts of everything that happened last night kept running through my brain as I ate breakfast. I just couldn't get it out of my head. Justin and how he acted so different, his lips on mine. Getting out of the shower to find a drunk Jake waiting on me. The thought of him reminded me of the pain in my wrists from his grip. I could tell that there were going to be bruises there. Gosh, he causes so many issues.
I walked into my living room, checking my phone. I responded to the texts I had from Kim, and of course Justin texted.
From: Justin
hey love, wanna do something today since no school? :)
I texted back, obviously accepting. It's a Friday, of course I wanted something to do.
To: Justin
heyy. sure, what do you wanna do?
Passing the time, I turned on the TV sitting on the stand a few feet away. Turning it to the Lifetime Movie Network, my phone dinged, indicating a new text.
From: Justin
meet me at local Starbucks at 1? :)
God, how I loved Starbucks. Call me typical white girl, but you don't even understand. I have an obsession with their Frappe's. Literally I can never get enough. Never.
To: Justin
I'll be there. :)
It was only 11:46 AM now, which gave me a lot of time to do what I want until then. I continued watching the movies on the channel for awhile, scrolling through Twitter at the same time.
By the time it was 12:45, I figured it was time to go. I ran upstairs, grabbing my leather jacket. I threw it in over what I was wearing, completing the outfit better than I expected.
I walked there instead of driving. Surprisingly it only took me about 20 minutes getting there. I pushed through the doors of the cozy brown building and scanned the faces. After a minute, I noticed Justin sitting in the corner at a 2 seater table, waiting on his order. His eyes met mine a minute later and a smile trailed to his face. I smiled right back, waving as I made my way over to him.
"Hey Justin," I said, sitting down across from him. He was wearing white, baggy leather pants that sagged a little, along with a grey v- neck and white Supras, matched with a black beanie. I have to say, he looked pretty attractive. As usual.
"Hey Em," He said, the smile still planted on his face. The waiter came up to us at the table.
"Here you go Mr. Bieber, your coffee." The teenage boy said, setting Justin's drink down in front of him. Justin said his thank you's and then the waiter turned to me.
"And what would you like?" The boy said, turning to me.
"Caramel Frappe, Grande and add the whipped cream." The waiter nodded, leaving to go get my order.
