A Luthor and a Super, who knew they could be so perfect for each other

A fresh start

Lena's pov
Moving to National City to start a new life is going to be hard. Not just that I'm not going to know anyone, but people hate Luthors. They think we are all evil. Yes, Lex was evil. But I'm not. And as far I know my mother isn't. I just hope to make some new friends.

"What's this?" An email popped up on my screen. It read:

Dear Ms. Luthor,

We would like to invite you to board the Venture. If you would like to board, please let us know for further details.

Thanks!

Tempting, but I have tons of work. I can't attend. I pushed my intercom button to Jess. "Hey Jess?"

"Yes Ms.Luthor?"

"That "café" is named Noonans, right?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome Ms. Luthor."

I cleaned my desk up a little and grabbed my purse and headed towards the elevators. I reached the ground level and headed off in the direction towards Noonans. I looked up at my building and saw the Luthor Corp logo name. "I should change it." I smiled, thinking of new names for the company and continued on towards Noonans.

Kara's pov
Today is a slow and boring day. At least my break is right now. I grabbed my wallet and headed towards Noonans for lunch. Thinking two things. Supergirl doesn't need a purse and that I'm going to get a ton of potstickers.

I could see Noonans from the second I walked out of CatCo. And, no not because of my X-ray vision. It's just right down the street.

I entered Noonans and walked up to the counter. "Hey Kara! Potstickers as usual?"

"Yep. And how about 20?"

"Sounds good!" I smiled brightly. He turned and went off to put the order in.

"Now how is someone going to eat 20 potstickers?" I heard someone call from my left side. I looked towards the voice and saw a beautiful raven haired woman at the counter about a yard away from me.

I blushed and looked down before picking my head back up. "I work out with my sister, so it burns off the calories." I smiled towards her.

"Are they good?"

"Very good. I mean I get them pretty much everyday."

"Well maybe I'll have to get some." She smiled and paused before speaking again. "I'm new here. Lena. Lena Luthor. And I'm not evil like my brother. I'm just a girl trying to make a name for myself on my own."

I smiled towards her again and reached my hand out hoping she would shake it. She took the offer of my hand. "I'm Kara. Kara Danvers. It's nice to meet you Lena and I don't judge a book by its cover."

"Here you go Kara. Have a great day." The guy over the counter said. I handed him the money.

"Well Lena. I need to go. But it was a pleasure meeting you." I smiled towards her again. She returned the smiled and I walked off, turning back to wave.

Lena's pov
Kara. Kara Danvers. Wow. That's literally all I can say. She was beautiful. I hope I see her again.
