Carter woke up at 7 am and started coughing he got up,making sure not to wake up Lauren, and went to the kitchen for some water.

He got his water and looked around at the kitchen. Carter looked at the pictures of Lauren and her family together and they seemed happy in the pictures. He sighed wishing he could have that relationship with his mom. His mom was just so close minded he didn't think he'd ever be close to her. He wanted to try to fix everything with his mom but he wasn't sure how.

Carter's eyes wondered around the room. He had felt like shit and had voices in his head screaming at him saying he was better off dead. This wasn't the 1st time this has happened either. He was tired of it and tired of his life. Carter wanted everything to stop. Everything to end. He wanted to buried in the ground . Gone forever. 

He knew his mom would probably always be stubborn in her ways of treating him.  He knew in the back of his mind his relationship with his mom would never fix. He hated that more than anything. She made him feel like shit but he also knew that wouldn't stop anytime soon.

He went through the cabinets in the house . He looked for bottle of pills. Any kind of pill would work. He found some prescription drugs and took a whole bottle of them. He grabbed a knife out of the kitchen and cut his wrist. He cut it open sideways and long ways deeply, on both arms. He sat on the ground until he passed out from blood loss and the pills.

Lauren had woken up and wasn't sure where carter had went. She walked into the bathroom to check if he was there or not. She walked around the house.
"Cartttter " she yelled out. She walked into the kitchen and say the top of carters head.
"Oh there you are baby I was wondering wh-..." she stopped and got closer to him. She scream and ran to him picking him up. She grabbed a towel and put it to his wrist trying to stop the bleeding. She sobbed and attempted to stop all the blood.

"Baby no no no no no carter why " she said sobbing into his shirt. She held onto him.
She had called 911 .They had arrived in about 6 mins after she called them.

911 arrived and they took carter to the hospital. By then ,Lauren's mom had woken up ?and realized what was going on and was as worried as Lauren was.
Lauren ,Oliver ,and their mom drove to the hospital. Lauren Oliver and their mom sat in the waiting room. A doctor came to Lauren and looked at her " Are you Lauren ?" He asked. "Yes is he okay ??" She spoke fastly.
"Carter's had his stomach pumped to get all the pills out and his wrist were stitched back the best they could be. It went pretty deep on of his wrist and definitely has a lot of nerve damage so he might not be able to use his hands a lot, he'll be okay "
"Thank god " Lauren said crying of joy.
"He's still asleep right now but you can go back and see him " the doctor said before leading them into Carter's hospital room.

Carter had laid back in his bed asleep. He hadn't woken up yet since anything. Lauren walked into the room nervously but happy to see him. She walked over to the side of his bed and ran her fingers through his hair softly.

" carter ..."she said kissing his forehead. Carter's eyes opened and he gave her a weak smile.
"Hey" He said looking at her. Lauren cried softly with tears running down her face.
" hi " she chocked out.
Carter looked down at his wrist and they had bandages around them.

Carter nodded and laid back .He started crying, tears rolled down his cheeks.
"I'm so sorry Lauren...I didn't mean to scare you. I was being selfish and didn't even think about this affecting other people." He said.
Lauren shook her head and put her hand on his cheek gently.
"Carter it's okay next time tell me if you feel like this so I can help you baby. I could of helped . just talk to me next time. Please.. I love you and I can't lose you. That would be the worse thing to happen to me." Lauren said. Carter nodded and smiled at her " I love you too".

The doctor walked in and looked at carter "it's gonna be about 3-5 days until you can use your hands again and have feeling in them. The stitches need to be in for at least 10 days and then come back for a revisit " he said. Carter nodded and sighed gently.

Carter's mom had been called. Carter's mom walked in. She looked at Lauren with disgust. "Your the reason why she did this ." She said bitterly and made carter get up ."uP Camila we are leaving now. We'll talk when we get home." She said furiously. She dragged carter out of the hospital and too their house.

His mom had a huge long conversation and fight with him once they had arrived at home.
"Camila i told you your not a boy and you need to grow your hair out or I will Home school you and not let you ever leave this house ! Do you hear me ?" She yelled at carter. He nodded his head tears forming in his eyes. "Yes I do "He said.
