Carter ended up falling asleep in Lauren's arm without a problem in the world. Everything was finally going right for once. Nothing normally goes right for him.

He opens his eyes to see the bright sun beaming down in through the window. He looks at Lauren which lays beside him.

Yes. Finally Saturday. No more school for today or tomorrow. God no stress. He sighed in relief and laid back down.

Lauren woke up about 10 minutes later and glanced over at cater. Carter looked at her back and gave her a small smile.
"Whatca wanna do today cutie ?" Lauren asks carter ruffling his hair. He smiles and looks at her .

" um get a hair cut ?" Carter says running his finger through his long brown hair,trying to fix his bed head.

" yeah but what about your mom,carter ?"

He shrugs and looks at her for a second.
" oh well screw her ." He says blunted looking around the bright room. Lauren nods and gets up.

After a hour or so they finally get ready to go get his hair done.
They get in the car and drive to the Hair solan.

Lauren walks in holding carters hand. Carter looks around anxiously as if he might see his mother or something. He'd literally never been able to leave his house again if his mom saw him holding hands with Lauren walking ,through a hair place , to get his hair cut.

They make it too room they were going to. A hour later or so carter has all his hair chopped off it lays just below his brows and is shaggy and fluffy . He looks at himself in the mirror. He's finally becoming him slowly. Slowly but surely. He looks over at Lauren and she smiles. She runs her fingers through his hair

" cute as ever " she says laughing a bit.

Carter holds Lauren's hand as they walk to the car. Carter notices something. Someone.

His stomach dropped at the fact that his life was even real right now.

His mom walked over to him grabbed his arm and pulled him away from Lauren.

" I told you you weren't allowed to see that girl and also your hair.  Camila stop this. Stop all of this your coming home with me and we're gonna figure out what to with that hair and come home. I love you." She says giving a small smiles.

Carter backs away pulling his arm away from her grasp.
" you don't love me .. you don't see me for the real me .. you don't see me as your son.  You don't ..love me. So don't you try and say you do ."Carter says In disgust . Tears roll down his eyes .

Lauren looks at them and doesn't know what to do . She just stays there and watches. She knows if she tries to talk to his mom she'll get no where .

Carter walks away from his mom and back to Lauren.
