Carter had snuck out his window to see Lauren. How could he not. He knew the fact that they had school tomorrow but he just couldn't wait. He walked about a mile till he arrived at Lauren's home. He called her talked to her the whole way there. He thought about how happy he was about getting his hair cut earlier in the week and how Lauren had helped him so much on accepting himself .

Carter had got lost in his thoughts when the door had opened and he saw Lauren standing there. His hands got shaky. His breath hitched it was like the first time he'd seen the most beautiful girl he's ever met for the first time again. Carter stood there getting lost in Lauren's green eyes.

"So are you just gonna stand there all day ?" Lauren asked pulling her favorite boy into a inviting hug. Carter got out of his trance and hugged her back tightly in the warm embrace.

" couldn't wait till tomorrow too see me ? " Lauren asked with a small laugh. Carter shook his head saying no.

Lauren had brought carter up the stairs ,past her brothers room ,and into her own bedroom. She held carters hand all the way there.

Lauren had sat down on the bed and carter had sat down beside her.
" I'm sorry my mom's so crazy and I'm sorry I hurt myself.. I just-" Lauren cut carters sentence off.

" no carter, I understand . Don't be sorry for your mom's unright mind. Its not your fault . That's out of your control baby. And please just never hurt yourself again , okay ?" Lauren said grabbing carters hand gently and intertwined their fingers together.

Carter had laid his head in her lap and laid down. Lauren ran her fingers through her hair.
" I love you no matter what carter , I love you no matter where you are in your transition I'll help you through it all. We only got to finish this school year and we can move together and you can start t. " Lauren bent down and kissed his head.
" your my favorite boy and always will be. Your the best boyfriend I've ever had. " Lauren said looking at carter

" I couldn't ask for a better, more loving , more sweet , person then you because I already have that. And I love you to the moon and back Lauren and your the best girlfriend in the world and your so supportive of me and oh my god I just love you so much " carter said with tears coming down his face. He had never felt this way with anyone else or towards anyone else. Lauren made him feel complete. And perfect the way he was.

Lauren smiled and wiped his tears. " hey, I got you something and it came. " Lauren had gotten up and walked to her dresser. Carter had sat up on the bed . Lauren brought him a black plastic bag.
" here ,I got this for you. " Lauren smiled and handed him the bag. Carter opened and pulled out a black binder. He hugged her tightly and started crying again , he seemed to have no control over his emotions anymore.
" Lauren thank you so much ."carter mumbled into her shirt.
" don't thank  me , just go put it on ." Lauren said and let go of him gently.

Carter had walked to the bathroom and took the ace bandage he had wrapped around his chest off. He put the binder on over his head and adjusted it where he needed he put his shirt back onto reveal a really flat chest . He looked at himself in the mirror and walked back to Lauren's room.
