I left on my walk alone. I walked fast. Guards didn't have enough time to follow me. I couldn't breath. I could barely even think. I didn't even know where I was going. I didn't even see that anyone was following me. I could just think fast. Faster. Fast.
Something grabbed me from my behind. It covered my mouth and I couldn't yell for help. My mouth was so dry I couldn't scream if I could. It pulled me into a nearby room. My vision blurred. My head was spinning. I couldn't die yet. I had to focus. I couldn't black out. Keep eyes open. Focus. Think. Think. Think.
"I guess the tables have finally turned," My visioned finally focused. Skehemkhet was smirking. "Funny isn't it," he said, "I was once in your position, staring death right in the face. I can assure you, I won't spare you." He laughed.
"You're mad!" I said.
"Am I? Or are you?" he said. "You signed your own death warrant. If you wouldn't have let me live we wouldn't be in this position."
"You're telling me, you are mad at me for not killing you!"
"Partially, do you know how hard it is to watch your sister rule on her own? When you know you are supposed to rule!"
"You idiot! It wouldn't be you ruling! You would be surrounded by advisers! It would be name only!"
"It is my time to go," he said. He got up and left. He closed the door behind me and I was alone.
I tried to escape. The door was locked. What was I going to do? I was panicking. Crying for help. I heard a hiss. I turned around and there was a cobra. He locked me in a room with a cobra. I was doomed.
I stood still, watching it slithering towards me. If I didn't threaten me it wouldn't bite, right? Wrong! It struck biting me in the leg. I withered in agony. He struck again. My vision blurred. I was so dizzy. I could here Skehemkhet calling for a guard. I knew exactly what he was doing. He is pretending he didn't lock me in here with a snake. Once I die the guard will kill the snake.
I completely blacked out. I knew I was done for. I left my body and to my horror I watched the guard kill the snake. Then he took my body and threw it into the Nile. He wasn't just trying to kill me. He was trying to completely erase me from history. The worst part was, I knew he would succeed. I had no tomb, no statue or temple built in my memory, all he had to do was silence the people of Egypt.
I couldn't even go to the after life. My body was eaten by a Hippopotamus. I couldn't speak my name. He was truly evil. The only thing that would satisfy me was if he either, had no power and was surrounded by advisers, or was so evil that he couldn't go to the afterlife either. But nothing could undo the fact that I was gone, and I would be forever.
