This chapter ia what i call a chapter Setup. Chapter Setups are pretty self explanatory: SETUPS for the next CHAPTER. Yall gucci?? No? Ok i tried. Lmfao. Enjoy.
Its been three weeks sinve Andres and I started dating. He has been getting along with Grandma Edna well since there first encounter. NeeCees party is tonight and I couldn't be more excited. She kept switching the themes but it is now officially a Pool Party. Yes its the beginning of September but its north Florida and its just less hot here. Im supposed to be going somewhere with Andres today. He texted me early this morning telling me he had a surprise for me. I was getting anxious just thinking about what is could be. He was always making me feel like this. Nervous. Every time we kissed, talked, touched, anything; I got butterflies. Its a little corny but we were in the "Honeymoon stage" of our relationship. And i can tell we are both enjoying it.
*Ring Ring*
My thoughts were interrupted by my phone vibrations.
"Hello?"
"Hey boo" He called me boo. I guess thats my new pet name.
"Hey babe" I chuckled. I cakled him babe. "Im so gay" i thought.
" Wyd?"
"Drawing wyd?"
"Come outside. Dressed please. We all know how you like to go Erykah Badu on us."
"Shut up!"
"Imma time you see how long it takes you, last tine it was an hour and 7 minutes."
"Nigga please.Aint nobody got time for dat."
"Perfection takes time"
"Your so gay!"
"Watever dont take forever. Imma chill with J until you get done."
" Aiight bye"
"Bye."
Really an hour and seven minutes. Damn! Imma seriously try and beT that though.
I took a shower and curled my hair. I put on my Lauren Hill radio on Pandora and went to work. I put on my cream colored floral crop top amd some low rise army green shorts. I finally had an outfit i could wear my thigh high gladiator sandals, so i put those on too. I took one last look in th mirror and ran a brush through my curls to give them a wet and wavy look and headed downstairs.
"Grandma, im goin out with Andres"
"Yes i know"
"No, i mean were going somewhere today"
"Oh ok dont get pregnant." "Ooh Killem!"
"What? i am not going ti get pregnant. You know Andres isnt like that. And did you jusy say 'Ooh Killem'??!"
"Yes, yea i did and i know i was just kidding"
" Who taight you that?"
"Andres"
"Dont say that ok"
"Low key i live saying it"
"I cant...I cant... she just said low key.Aiight Grandma ill be back later"
"Aiight shawty" she said as i walked out the door.
"Shawty?!?" I was so done. I headed down the porch steps and saw Andres talking to J. I ran across the street and covered his eyes with my hands
"Guess who?!?" He lowered my hands and kissed me.
"Hey J"
He walked away. J is still not talking to me after the whole fight thing. He can act like a lil bitch all he wants to but he knows deep down that I was right about Camille an was fighting for him since he couldnt do it himself.
J POV
"Stupid ass. He knows how I feel about her." I thought as i walked away after i saw them kiss.
