" Poppa?!"
" Is that all you have to say to me?" He looked at me with suprise. Grandma scooted to the other end of the bed and exited slowly. She looked calm and collected but walked uneasily.
I stood shocked looking at Poppa. He killed my father. He was the reason my life was hell all of my childhood. Imma kill him. I dropped to my knees and grabbed the knife and charged him. I lunged the knife toward his heart but he grabbed my wrist fiercly causing me to drop it. The entire time this was happening Grandma was totally calm as she looked at us through tthe dresser drawer mirror.
" You learn a lot while your in prison ey?" she said dryly
Poppa just stared at her.
" Yea well you also learn a lot outside of it too." she said pointing a gun at him.
" Eddie?" he gasped
" Grandma?!?" I yelled. She walked up closer to him and put the gun to his temple.
" Eddie? What the hell are you doing."
" Grandma stop!" I yelled.
" Eddie, b-but... I love you." he pleaded
" SHUT UP!"
"Grandma!"
" SHUT UP!!"
" Eddie dont. Please."
" Grandma."
" Shut up!" She said with tears filling in her eyes.
" Grandma."
"Eddie"
Bang! My eyes closed.
I heard something drop to the floor. Loud. Deep breaths came from a panicking Edna. She backed away and hit the wall. Slowly she slid down the wall crying. She held her knees in her chest and cried. I opened my eyes and crawled to Grandma. I took her by her shaking hands. She had the gun in tight grip on the floor. I released her hands of the gun and slid it to tthe other side of the room. She sat and looked at me.
" I couldn't do it. I just couldn't." she began to bawl.
" Eddie i thought you loved me"
" Get out. "
" Eddie"
"NOW!" she yelled
" Fine." he walked to the door. Then stopped
" But before i go, I want you that I love and will CONTINUE to love you. Forever. I wouldn't have done what i did if i didnt love you."
" Now!"
" Goodbye Eddie." That was the last time i heard his voice until he died. But until then...
