I walked into my house that I shared with my husband, of six years, Mark. I heard him playing with our 5 year old son, Jared.

"I'm home!" I called out.

"Mommy," I heard Jared scream while running towards me. I also heard the pitter-patter of Chica's paws hitting the floor. Jared ran into the room and I hoisted him up into my arms.

"Hey honey, how was school today?" I asked him.

"It was awesome. I can count to five."

"Oh really," I said amused.

"Yes. One, two, three, four, five. See."

Mark walked in laughing.

"Daddy, daddy! I counted to five again." Jared said excitedly.

"That's really cool, squirt." I laughed at his nickname for our son.

"Can we play with my dinosaurs. Pretty pretty please?"

"I don't know. I have to make dinner."

"C-mon please. We can order a pizza," Mark said. I contemplated this. Jared stated making puppy dog eyes.

"Not the puppy dog eyes." With this Mark smiled and did puppy dog eyes too.

"Noooo. Arg fine."

"Yayyyyy," they screamed together. Mark went to order the pizza while I went with Jared to get his dinosaur hats.

"I call the t-rex," Mark shouted from the kitchen. In the end Mark and Jared had the two t-rexes hats while I was supposed to be the girl running from them.

I ran across the living room with the boys following me.

"Ahh," I fake screamed. Jared jumped out in front of me and I tried running back but Mark had me cornered. Mark grabbed me by the waist when I tried running.

"Roarrrrr," he whisper yelled.

"What does that mean?" I asked him.

"It's 'I love you' in dinosaur." We both leaned forward and our lips met in a passionate kiss.

"Ewwww," Jared screamed when he saw us. I laughed along with Mark as I enjoyed the evening with my two favorite boys.
