ROY
The dream was all too real. The knife, my potential death, the whimsical attempt of savior of the unknow guest. My body felt real. Like bones, flesh, and feelings real. I seriously had a hard time coaching myself with lucid dreaming this time. My mind was a goner.
My pulse quickened as the lady soon brought the glittering gold knife down on my chest, plunging it into my heart. I could practically feel the dagger splitting through blood and fresh as it entered my body.
A loud voice cracked and shattered in the distance, with muffeled screams of agony. The guest came in soon after the lady dissapeared, crying at my bedside, while I struggled to move any part of my body. His dark hair flittered across my arms, as he wept.
The alarm clock felt like a frying pan banging on the side of my head or a heart attack. Either ones were accurate seeing as they both give me frightening pain. And with either one, I would happily suffer if it meant I could wake up from the horrid dream.
I stuffed my head back into the stiff pillow that smelt of rotten tuna. My mom has seriously taken this tuna fish thing way too far, and besides, I don't even like tuna. It reeks and reminds me of dead sea animals.
The alarm still rang in my ears loudly as I pounded on the small device repeatedly with my fist and slid- no, violently pushed my alarm clock off of my dresser.
I lazily brought myself up from the uncomfortable bed. The smell was starting to irritate me and my nostrils but I shook it off.
I rubbed my eyes sliding back my bedspread and lifted myself up, sighing because of the lack of sleep I'd had last night, due to my tournament.
I lazily bent down, placing my alarm clock back onto my nightstand. The silver around the ticking device held my gaze as my memory switched to a similar gold one sitting beside me in my dream.
I looked at the alarm clock in horror before deciding to chuck it out of my bedroom window. It might not have been the best idea, but even staring at the blue device made me want to kill it.
I started to take off my bed sheets to reveal a bit of sweat on them from my dream last night. I had an awful dream, the kind forever etched into your memories and inside your head, speaking to you in hushed whispers. Basically, threatening to ruin my otherwise okay day.
In the dream I was in some sort of beautiful palace bedroom with gold drapings, clear white walls, decorated with sculptured paintings, and a bunch of more eloquent stuff. I was waking up on a beautiful gold sheeted bed with fluffy pillows surrounding my sleeping body. My mahogany brown hair was braided into a thick braid with a few threads of gold inside, and my face was done with natural makeup that perfectly accented my face.
That's how I knew it was a dream. I could barely put my pants on in the morning, nevertheless makeup. Also because on the rare occasions that I actually get to sleep I wasn't twisting and turning in my bed like a killer raccoon was under my sheets.
A sudden creak came from a giant wooden door next to the bed, which had been hidden before it was opening. In came a woman who's face I was unable to see, with a grey dress on and her raven black hair in waves down her back.
Something about her aura changed the soft and beautiful atmosphere as if a dozen storm clouds were now storming directly over her. Though her persona was frightening, her posture showed poise and elegance like an evil swan, threatening to peck your eyes out because you touched her children.
