ROY

Let me just tell you, it seriously hurt like hell when I jumped out. It felt like every piece of my flesh diminished and every bone was broken; I never thought it would hurt this bad. I could hardly even get off of the ground, I layed thinking about those things. I could hardly trust anyone anymore, even police officers.

I slowly got up, on my knees, holding my elbow, which was bent at a funny angle. My shirt was bloody, probably because of the broken glass shards surrounding the window, but all I know is that it felt like something was plunging inside my stomach.

My vision was hazy and I'm pretty sure my brain was going crazy, because I couldn't think straight and there were doubles everywhere. I crawled over towards an alley near a strawberry van, and layed my head onto the green dumpster nearby.

The cars around the taxi were honking so long and loudly, a big burly man got out of his SUV. His face was hard and an evil smirk pulled on his face. Dressed in a muscle tee and jeans, the guy was seriously built; like work out everyday built. The man picked up a crow bar about as long as his arm and swung it repeating oh in his hand.

Random silly thoughts plagued my head as I thought about crow bars and other mechanical instruments not used to beat someone up in the middle of my brain storming I'd stumbled across the thought of crows battling ravens. I like ravens much better, now if only they were blue, my favorite color, I'd keep one for myself.

The creature in the taxi turned to me, gold blood sputtering out of nose and one bruised green eye practically glued shut. He glanced from me, to the man, to the feverish crowd uneasily, and then hissed back at me from the car.

Though, he was inside I could hear him mutter, "Troublemaker. Just like your idiot brother"

At least that's what I think he said, since the window was off, it was audible but kind of muffled. But it surely couldn't be right, seeing as I was an only child. Either my mother was just too busy to have another kid, or she just didn't want one; but I did. I dreamed of playing on swing sets when we were little, getting into random fights, having someone to stand up for the bullies I endured through out elementary and more. I got teased almost everyday because I was the odd one out; I couldn't focus, I got bad grades, and I had absolutely no friends at all. Thinking about all this made my head hurt and pound even more, this time with thoughts of sadness.

The taxi car with the grotesque creature inside turned on its brakes a millisecond before the man got over there, and sped away like a crazy maniac. I grabbed my bag as I turning towards the street, hoping to get somewhere before the monster could drive to the otherwise and capture me from the alley. My stomach clenched as I got up, letting loose a fiery pain raging up my torso.

When i looked down, I saw I was bleeding horribly, dark red blood gushed and splattered over my grey graphic Superman shirt that was covered in comic strips. I thought about days were I used to read- or at least try to read them when I was bored.

This had been my favorite shirt, the only one i cared about- and the only one in the Avengers collection. And now it was inked up by blood, but as I thought about it, honestly I could care less. I stumbled down the street tiredly, my eyes still seeing double as people gave me weird and dirty looks, like I was beneath them, but that didn't bother me either.

I knew I wouldn't make it far at all, because I was so frail and weak. My body could hardly even hold itself up. I collapsed in alley, unoccupied between a brown rocky building that smelt of strawberries, and a skyscraper.

My eyelids started to close, feeling heavy on my face, as I started to hallucinated, or at least it felt like hallucination. The big man from the street, crouched towards me, now fully seeing him, his eyes seemed to oddly glow behind dark sunglasses, and he had black cropped hair on top of his head. He smirked then waving his hand he muttered something like "Sleep well, kid." Assuming he was there in the first place, of course.
