I'm trying to stay strong
I'm trying to stay brave
But deep inside
I'm really afraid
I fear of the darkness
That expands every second
I fear of the pain
That never seems to leave
I fear all that's seemingly
Overwhelming
For if this doesn't stop
I might snap in the darkness
So no matter what
Face I put on
I'm still enduring
All that's going on
But I will
Make it through
For I won't give up
I hate to lose
Because if I decided
That I was done
That would only mean
That everything's lost
Okay, okay, completely different from my normal poetry. This is a poem from aroundddd a year ago? I was going through a tough time and was inspired to write this. Anyways, if any of you guys are struggling, keep trying because hey! Everything gets better at some point ^_^
