Once there was
A little girl
A girl who thought
All was well
Little did she know
That as she grew
Life seemed to grow
Worse as well

Soon those happy moments
Turned bitter
That once always smile,
Gone forever
Those joyful moments,
Lost in the wind
For as she grew
She discovered life's cruelty

But even then
She would not accept it
So she fought and fought
No matter how much life rejected
The future she was shown
Was unacceptable
Why accept the given path
When you can carve your own
And with that thought
She continued to fight
She continued to fight
'Til things were right
For she was not
One to give in
No, she was a brave one
Who liked to win
