Third Person

"Yes! We got the same subjects... Except for Lit and PolSci but besides that we got the same!" Cara cheers happily as she walks by the corridor that Tuesday morning along with Kendall and Taylor. Her hands are occupied with hers and Kendall's sceedule, busy comparing the two.

Kendall chuckles as she watches her new found friend in amusement. "Yeah, and so?"

Cara lifts her eyes from the paper to look at the brunette with a frown, "And so we get to spend a lot more time, duh!!!" She says like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Uh, best friend here?" Taylor butts in, raising her hand to get noticed. She's not actually bothered though, the bond she and Kendall has is unbreakable and won't be leveled, they are pretty much sisters from another misters. Plus, it's obvious that Cara and Kendall won't go Alon that type of bond? Sisters? Taylor finds herself thinking how incest that is.

Kendall laughs as she throws an arm around her blonde best friend, "Oh come on, Tay, stop sulking, it's Tuesday morning. It should be like Taylor Tuesday you know," Kendall teases and Taylor just rolls her eyes playfully.

"I think your best friend's moody because she's yet to see my best friend. Don't worry, Miss Swift, Karlie is never known for being an early bird." Cara grins. The oldest blonde throws the Brit a glare but Cara just laughed it off as Kendall nudges her side with her elbow, trying not to laugh herself.

"I don't know what you're talking about, I'm actually praying that she won't show up." Taylor states but Kendall knows her too well to believe.

"Here we are, Room 4-B" Cara announces as she looks at the sign above and hers and Kendall's schedule.

"Oh yeah. So Tay, is it okay by you walking by yourself to your room?" Kendall asks genuinely and Taylor smiles at her.

"Of course, Kenny. I'll see you later at lunch, okay? Bye. Bye Delevingne."

"Bye Swift!" Cara waves back with a giggle. "So leg's go?"

Kendall nods and they get inside the room. There's already students gathered around in the seats, 25 something in estimation. All eyes were quickly directed to the two and Kendall felt her cheeks heating up, not used to the attention. Cara, on the other hand, was nonchalant about it. She's used to being the famous girl in school and especially here, it's not a surprise that people started to whisper when they pass by.

"Where do you wanna sit, Ken?" Cara asks as she looks at Kendall, smiling as if there wasn't students burning holes on their heads right now.

Kendall clears her throat as she looks around, "Back seat?"

"Good call," Cara grins before taking the girl's hand and leading them to the back area of the room.

Kendall tries to shrug off all the murmurings and when she felt Cara squeezed her hand lightly, everything immediately disappears and she doesn't matter them at all. They took a seat beside each other, there's still 5 minutes before classes starts

"So, how'd you like your new school so far?" Cara asks her and it was obvious that she's trying to get Kendall's mind out of the prying eyes.

Kendall smiles as she slightly shifts her seat to face the blonde girl, "Well, I haven't been around yet except for the clinic, the room and the rooftop and I haven't met the terror teachers yet so I can't tell. But so far? It's cool." She says sincerely.

Cara chuckles, "I bet almost getting hit by a car on your first day adds up to the coolness of it." She said, making the taller girl laugh and damn, Cara don't mind hearing that laughter all day. She suddenly had the urge to record it and set if as her ringtone. She facepalms herself mentally, she got it so bad and she knows it. But then she really wants to respect Kendall's decision, the thing that they talked about on the rooftop makes sense and she knows it's a better idea. But thinking that this, this thing between them, could actually go somewhere excites her.

"I know right," Kendall giggles.

As the laughter died down, Kendall notices the shift on Cara's face. Her eyes suddenly darkens a bit and her lips lost the smile. She was just about to ask when Cara speaks, "I'm sorry," she apologizes which surprised the brunette.

"Huh? What are you sorry for?" She asks, confused. "If this is about yesterday, I mean it--"

"No, that's not it." Cara cuts off. She sighs, "I know you're feeling uncomfortable with all the people staring at us, looking at our direction and blatantly gossiping as we passed by. It's my fault. If you weren't with me then you weren't supposed to experience this kind of bull crap. I'd understand if you want to stay away and if --"

"Cara, what the hell are you talking about?" Kendall exclaims, trying not to maximize her voice. She's got enough attention for that, "Look, you're right, I'm not used to all this attention being thrown at me." She said and she can see the fear and sadness mixed in those beautiful grey-blue eyes. So she continued immediately, "but I'm not blaming you AT ALL for it. And I would never think of staying away from you. You're my friend now, remember? And so what if they look and gossip about us, it's their time being wasted, not ours. And I won't let them ruin what we have with such dumb acts. I like you, you're a special friend to me."

Cara felt herself tearing up and she's never one to cry in public,s she immediately swallow a lump in her throat. "You'll never know how much I appreciate what you just said," she says.

Kendall gives her a genuine smile, reaching for her hand and squeezing it softly. Cara flashes her a sweet smile, something to say that she mean it, and that she really appreciates it.

It wasn't long before the professor comes in and both girls listen with  huge smiles on their faces. Both feeling lucky for finding each other.
