(LAAATEEE UPDATE. SORRY! HERE'RE CAKE AND KAYLOR FOR Y'ALL.)
"What're you doing here?"
"Why, I thought you haven't bought this yet?" The taller girl chuckles bitterly as she puffed the smoke from her cigarette.
"You smoke? I didn't know you smoke,"
"Well, you clearly know nothing about me, princess," Karlie deadpans as she took another drag.
Taylor swallows a lump in her throat. Unsure what to feel right now as she looks at the girl sitting down the ground of the rooftop.
Beaten by the guilt, she excused herself from Kendall and started rushing to find the taller blonde. She looks everywhere, she thought of asking Cara but she knows the girl is pretty pissed on her too. And then she thought of the rooftop and luckily, she found the girl.
"It's bad for your health," Taylor said as she looks down to the girl with the smoke who refuses to look back.
Karlie sneers, "Well, I seem to like a lot of things that can cause me nothing but pain. Don't worry, I'm used to it." her voice was cold, and Taylor starts to get scared. She wasn't used to this attitude of the younger girl, it was something new.
And Taylor is scared. Not because of what might Karlie do to her, she's scared that it might be too late and Karlie might not forgive her.
Taylor heaves a sigh as she looks away, "I was jealous," she mumbles and it was almost inaudible. Karlie caught up, but wasn't sure if she heard it right.
"What?" She asks, now looking up to see the blonde, face flushed and looking away.
"Ugh, you heard it. Don't make me say it again!" Taylor groans, fighting off a pout.
Karlie's forehead creases as she quickly stood up, towering the other blonde easily. "You were jealous? Was that it?" she repeats and the silence confirms it as Taylor refuses to say it out loud again.
"Look," Taylor breathes as she tries to meet the green orbs, "you're attractive and... your attitude doesn't suck that much, I don't know what I feel but maybe I kinda like you BUT I'm not sure about it. And even if I do, I won't ... We can't be together and all," the wide smile that formed across the taller girl's lips vanished.
"What? Why?!" She asked instantly.
Taylor groans, "I can't trust you! You're a play girl, you have quite the reputation and I see how you flirt with other girls. I just, we can't..."
"But I like you! I really do. I know we just met yesterday but I like you for real. I can change." Karlie said, her voice almost pleading as she looks at the blue eyed girl with hopeful eyes.
"Karlie, I- I don't know. Relationship isn't just my priority right now and I can't even wrap my head around the fact that I like a girl, it's not just right."
Taylor feels like taking back what she just said at the broken look in the green eyed girl's face. Karlie's look turn from pained to blank as she takes a deep breath.
"I... I understand," she tries to laugh but it sounded bitter. She shook her head and take another deep breath. "I get it. Of course, I do get it."
"Karlie.."
"No, Taylor. I know, it's fine. Hey, friends right? It's cool." She smiles but it doesn't reach her eyes. "Uhm, I think class just resumed. You should go now,"
"Aren't you gonna-"
"I'll just finish this stick. See you later," Karlie reassures.
Taylor nods her head, not really wanting to leave but doesn't have a choice. She knows she has to leave the girl alone right now.
Taylor makes her way out of the rooftop, not sure if she's regretting what she said. Maybe not, she's right, she needs to focus on her studies and everything but relationship. It's the right thing to do.
But why does it feel wrong inside me?

"Hey, are you okay?" Kendall asks as she finds the Brit leaning against the wall in the hallway. "You didn't attend the last two classes, where were you?"
Cara groans as she stuffs her phone back in her pocket, "It's Karlie. She's not answering my texts and my calls and I haven't seen her since lunch. I swear if I found out that something bad happened to her, I won't forgive your friend."
"Cara, don't be like that. Taylor might be kinda off--"
"Kinda" Cara rolls her eyes.
"-- but she has a reason. She's never good in handling new feelings and I'm not blind, they like each other. Taylor hasn't come to terms in accepting it yet."
"I just hope you're right cause I can see that Karlie really likes your blonde friend." Cara said. "Anyway, are you gonna head home now?"
"Uh, I don't know. Taylor usually drops me off and I can't contact her either,"
"Maybe they're together?"
"I don't know. Hey, it's still early. Just half past 4. Wanna hang out somewhere?"
"There's a breakfast cafe just nearby! They sell bacons!" The Brit giddily suggested, earning a laugh from the taller girl.
"You do know it's like almost dinner, right?"
"It's never too late for bacon. Come on! This is gonna be like our first date!" Cara said proudly and she didn't miss the flushing of the brunette's cheeks. "What? There's nothing wrong with a friendly date," the Brit shrugs, turning her heel and starts walking away with a smug.
Kendall was left, clutching her chest as she mumbles, "Oh my god,"
"JENNER!"
"Coming!" ... "Cara!!! No pun intended." She scowls, earning a loud laugh from the cheeky lady.
...
"Can't you just answer your damn phone? Ugh!" Taylor groaned impatiently as she listens to the ringing for like the 10th time.
She's currently sitting by this cafe and had been trying to reach out for the taller girl but unluckily, there's no response yet. She planned on asking Karlie to come here so they can talk AGAIN.
She knows how she has hurt Karlie back on the rooftop, her eyes and how her voice was pleading were enough to confirm it.
Another voicemail, she's starting to lose hope but she doesn't want to give up any time soon. She has decided, she won't be engaging in any relationship with Karlie or anyone anytime soon but she wants to give it a try, she would be open about her feelings for Karlie but that's it for now, she's just hoping that Karlie would understand, stay and wait for her to be ready. She won't block her out of her heart.
Just as she was to try and call the younger girl again, she heard the sound of the chimes, signals that someone has enter the cafe. She subconsciously decided to look at that direction... she froze for a moment upon seeing a familiar face, there are two of them actually who both look like fresh out of a magazine shoot.
Taylor couldn't move as she locked eyes with one of them. The person looked shock, and then it turned into ice cold and she gave the older blonde a nod before turning her attention back to the other familiar girl.
Taylor couldn't take her eyes off them two even though she feels her heart breaking, oddly and funny enough if she thinks about it. Another chime has been heard and this time, Taylor swear some things are just really meant and not out of coincident.
Kendall and Cara are here, Taylor's here and also Karlie.
Oh, did I forget to mention that Toni's here too?
