Old friend pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend or a meaningful day.

I tilted my head back while closing my eyes to collect all my thoughts about everything Dr. Williams just said before he left.

I'm not sure if I would make it to breakfast at 7. I'm not a typical girly girl so my morning routine doesn't take that long, but with me sitting in a wheelchair it will take a little longer.

I guess that's the reason I will be getting a welcome buddy. I hope she's one of the crazy people here, we would make a great team. Two unstable minds will work perfect together. Note the sarcasm.

I have a few questions to ask her though. I know I'm new and everything but I will try to behave myself. I don't want to sabotage a potential great friendship. But not with everyone, my brain will explode with to much positivity. Just be yourself Stacy. If they don't like the real you, then screw them.

Just as I finished giving myself a pep talk I heard a loud banging on the door. I snapped my head up and opened my eyes to focus on the loud noice.

Great, now I really have a headache.

Without me answering a tall brunette walked in as if she owns the place. She looked like she just came out of an underground rage or something.

She was wearing black skinny jeans, with a dark long sleeve t-shirt with a band logo in the middle. There were tons of bangles on her arms and low hanging necklaces around her neck. Damn girl. You can dress!

She had a smile on her face, which was a good sign but that only lasted about three seconds because her gaze turned to me sitting on my bed in only my underwear.

"Ahm Hi, may I help you?" I said with a little awkwardness in my voice.

"Well, by the looks of it, you're the one needing my help. There-" she handed me another envelope. "It's my so called job description." Okay, straight to business.

"Oh yeah... I was wondering about that but the stupid doctor wouldn't tell me anything."

"Welcome to SSC. Heyy! You're the girl who freaked out at school yesterday. You left quite a mess. There were blood everywhere! Kind of cool, it looked like a murder scene." She plopped down on the bed beside me making the bed bounce.

"Ahh!" Breath Stacy...

"Ohmyword, I'm so sorry." She actually looked sorry so I waved it off like it is nothing. She stood up and did the exact same move on the bed that's on the other side of the room.

"So yeah, Hi, my name is Amy-Clare Carter by the way. Nice to meet you Stacy Clark. Looks like you're my new roommate." She waved at me with a big smile. "But you can just call me Amy... Oh! Open the envelope."

I reached across the bed and open the second envelope for the day. In the envelope was my student ID. Oh no mum! On the student ID was the most embarrassing photo my mum could've send in. I looked like a 15 year old girl. It's a photo before I dyed my hair white, and developed a sense of style.
