Victor fiddled with the zip on his jacket. He was happy about walking with Yuri and Phichit but also nervous in case they thought he was a slow walker and tell him to hurry up. Walking ahead of them was not going to happen because 1: He didn't know where he was going and 2: He had to push down the belief that they would think he was too cocky for thinking he knew where he was going. He began to think, again, of the idea that they just felt sorry for him, however, he refused to let that sneak up on him because of what Yuri said. The unfamiliar scenery made the walk seem like it was going on forever. Yuri and Phichit were laughing to themselves maybe from an inside joke they shared. It didn't help either with the translation barrier. Phichit then looked behind him and walked slower to match Victor's pace.

"You okay?" He asked.

Victor nodded.

"Yeah, I just feel out of place"

Yuri then caught up.

"Ah don't say that!" Yuri then took out his phone from his pocket, went into messages, and pressed the buttons on the keyboard.

Victor immediately felt his phone vibrate. He also took out his phone from his pocket. Message from Yuri. The first of many.

'Come to the park with me tomorrow'

Victor nearly stopped dead. He legs felt numb but he had to force himself to keep walking. He just about managed to write his reply.

'I would like that. Thank you so much. Just tell me the times and things like that later'

"What are you guys texting? Don't leave me out! Unless you two are a couple, I won't let this go!"

"Phichit, would you like to come to the park tomorrow?"

Victor's felt a pang of disappointment in his chest. Of course. He was Yuri's best friend.

"No, I can't, I have stuff to do tomorrow. I started a course on photography!"

Victor clenched his jaw to prevent himself from smiling. He felt bad but he just wanted Yuri to himself.

When they stepped inside the building, Victor was immediately overwhelmed by the loud music and annoying sounds the machines made as people won and lost. Victor panicked when he saw Yuri and Phichit go to the counter to pay for their tickets. Victor was only getting to grips of the basics of the currency and only bought things that he was sure he knew the amount that he needed to pay. Victor looked at the prices on the wall and dug through his wallet to search for the money needed. But as soon as he did, he heard Yuri call his name. He looked up from his wallet and saw Yuri stand right in front of him, a ticket in his hand.

"My treat" Yuri smiled.

Victor gently took the ticket from Yuri's hand.

"Thank you" Victor said quietly "I will pay you back"

Yuri shook his head.

"No, no, I told you, my treat!"

Victor smiled and said thank you again.

"Okay!" Phichit said loudly "What do you want to do first?! Wait! I know! Victor, since you skate, you must be good at moving your feet, right?"

Victor looked to Yuri with an obvious 'What is he saying?'

Yuri did his best to make it simple.

"He wants you to go on the dance machine"

Victor looked back in terror and quickly shook his head in refusal.
