Ok, so the title is actually Adjustments In More Than One Way by Fall Out Boy ft. Panic! at the Disco but ain't nobody got time for that.

Nah, this actually stars a confused and crushing Sam. His co-star, Gabe, is playing the role of the oblivious flirt.

Song stuck in my head is Listening by Tonight Alive. They are soooooo good.

Gabe... was confused.

He was on the bed - his new bed, he should say - trying to sleep, but it wouldn't work. All he could do was think about the last few days. All he could do was think about Sam.

That Winchester was something else. He hadn't turned Gabe away; instead, he'd tried to keep him around.

Sighing, Gabe rolled over, trying to force himself to sleep. He'd gotten used to sleeping beside Sam, curling up next to him and sleeping through the night with ease.

That was the odd thing. Gabe had always had insomnia, not bad, but enough that it kept him bored and his eyes on the ceiling.

He'd fallen asleep so easily next to Sam. The second he had curled up and let his eyes close, he was out.

Biting his lip, he crawled soundlessly off of his bed and padded down the hall to Sam's, pushing the door open slowly. He looked to the bed, seeing the moose of the man lazily clicking at his phone, eyes drooping, his radio playing lightly in the background.

Sam glanced up at him, cocking his head. "You okay?" he yawned out.

Gabe looked down. "Can't sleep," he murmured. "Insomnia."

"You slept fine when you were a dog," Sam commented. His tone didn't come off harsh in the slightest, just curious and soft.

"Only when I was next to you," Gabe clarified, feeling a light blush taint his cheeks.

The Winchester moved over with little hesitation. "Come get some sleep, Gabe," he said. "You'll need it for tomorrow."

Gabe crept into the room, letting the door close. He clambered onto the bed, careful not to slide too close to Sam as he burrowed into the blankets. "Tomorrow?"

Sam hummed in response. "I have a few days off, so we're going to go to a town a ways over and do some shopping."

"Oh." The Novak burried himself farther into the bed. "You don't have to do that."

"Sleep," Sam whispered after a minute of silence. "Just... sleep, Gabe."

Gabe nodded slowly. How did he get into this? He was hurting his brother, putting a weight on Sam...

He sighed, closing his eyes. He fell asleep quickly, peacefully, listening to Free Will by Rush play.

Sam watched Gabe relax, his muscles loosening and his mouth opening as he snored lightly. He had to stop himself from smiling like a loon at the sight, his fingers itching to brush his hair from his blissfully closed eyes.

It was an odd sight to see. Gabe looked like an angel curled up in the blankets. Sam wanted to know what it felt like to curl up with him.

He quickly shook himself, looking at the ceiling. "Bad thoughts, Sam. Bad thoughts," he whispered to himself.

Sam just couldn't stop himself. He knew he didn't love Gabe yet - in fact, he was far, far from it -but he was definitely feeling something. There was no hope to get rid of it.

He hoped Gabe would be there to catch him when he fell.

Sam had never been in love. He'd had his boyfriends, his little dates - nothing could have prepared him for the whirlwind that Gabe had spiralled him into.

And, to put it into perspective, he'd only known human Gabe for a matter of hours.

His confusion was overriding him. He bit his lip, trying to shut his brain down. It was going to be a long day for them tomorrow, and he'd need to have some energy behind him.

Looking at Gabe, Sam prayed that tomorrow would bring them something. There was nothing he wanted more than to get to know the little ball of energy that was beside him.

Maybe their shopping spree would do that. They'd do dorky things at the mall, maybe do a bit of laser tag (Sam TOTALLY didn't find the mall that had games on purpose) and they'd be on their way to being friends.

It was all so complicated, and Sam still had questions. Something about Gabe wasn't quite right.

Biting his lip, Sam put his phone on the nightstand, leaving his radio going. He wrapped himself in one of the blankets, tossing a look at Gabe's inviting figure, before forcing himself to turn.

It took forever for him to sleep that night.

Sorry I haven't updated, guys!

So the song I mentioned comes on my radio a lot (probably once a day if not more) and it fits so well with Supernatural.

Give it a listen if you get the chance.
