Just got done watching my friend do dumb stuff on stage after being hypnotized. That hypnotist knew what he was doing when he had all the boys do a "sexy photo shoot." Totally don't have 1000 pics of that....
What? Can't a chick appreciate a solid six pack?
Ok, so that was like February 16 or so when I started this. Song of the day is DKLA (Don't Keep Love Around) by Troye Sivan. I love my little squish.
Road trips.
What people expect: A relaxing drive, listening to music and bonding while eating yummy snacks. You laugh the entire way, for hours on end, over stupid comments, because you never run out of things to say.
What Gabe and Sam actually did: A semi-quiet drive with both of them trying to figure out how to express confusing and weird emotions while stuffing their faces with junk food that made Sam's stomach hurt.
Sam tried. He tried so hard, and he was proud of himself for even getting that far. All he had to do was tell Gabe that they were going out so that he could get to know the awesome ball of energy that he was. He just needed to confess that he was feeling things he hadn't felt before, and in such a short time, even.
"Hey, Gabe," he finally piped up, his voice still fairly quiet.
Gabe turned his head, whiskey eyes catching the sunlight. Sam had to fight to keep his eyes on the road, breath knocked from his lungs. "Yeah, Sammich?"
"We're just outside the city," he murmured after clearing his throat, fixing his gaze fiercely on the road.
"Yay!" Gabe grinned happily, bouncing in his seat. "I love cities. Especially when they have shops."
Sam smiled lightly. "You just want candy, don't you?"
"....No."

Gabe entered the mall and almost passed out. It was utterly huge. The buildings were pushed together to take up a few blocks, having no roof and no barriers.
He ran his gaze up and down the buildings, eyes alight. "Can we go to Hot Topic?" he bubbled.
Sam laughed beside him, giving a nod. "Knock yourself out," he offered, waving a hand.
Gabe pushed a fist into the sky victoriously, taking Sam's hand and taking off. He wasn't sure where the Hot Topic was, but he wasn't going to be stopped by that little fact.
Sam just let him lead, which confused him. Gabe would have thought that the Winchester would have pulled away from the more intimate contact, but here he was, surprising him again.
Finally, Hot Topic was in reach. It was so close. Gabe could see it, just a few yards in front of them, and he was running, and running, and running...
And then he wasn't. He bumped into a lady, who scoffed at them as he moved to collect himself, Sam shifting at his side. She gave the two of them a look, her eyes drifting down to their still clasped hands in disgust, a small, indignant sound leaving her lips.
"Would the two of you not do such things in public?" she snapped. "Some parents are trying to raise their kids correctly."
Sam flinched beside him, and Gabe was suddenly fixing his jaw as the lady began to strut away on her tall heels.
"Ma'am, this boy isn't my boyfriend," he shot evenly, his tone bitter but not quite rude. "If he was, I'd show him off every chance I got, because that's what he deserves. The men you date do the same for you, share the same kind of utter devotion, and you think that it's wrong for it to be two men instead of one man and a woman?"
He laughed a small amount, dryly. "Being gay is not to be ashamed of, nor is it something children are raised for. My parents were strict Christians that hated the idea, and here I stand, gay as a rainbow."
The lady blinked, jaw working, eyes wide with scorn. She snarled before flipping her hair and stalking away double time.
Gabe made a sound before turning to Sam, who had his head tilted, eyes bright with something he didn't recognize.
"What?" the Novak asked, suddenly bashful.
"That," Sam said, words exiting his mouth airily. "Holy shit."
Gabe rubbed his own arm, looking away. "It was nothing," he murmured awkwardly.
Sam stared at him for a moment before finally shaking his head and taking Gabe's hand again, leading him to the Hot Topic. Gabe fought the urge to smile down at their hands, though he knew that Sam had done it with some sort of purpose.
With what exactly, he wasn't sure, but Gabe knew that this little shopping trip of theirs was going to get them a whole lot more than just clothes.
Gabe hoped it would lead to less clothes, really.
Sorry for the lack of content, guys. I've been super stressed with Yearbook deadlines and competitions.
Speaking of competitions, I have a new book out that's for a competition. So, if y'all wanna maybe help me prep it for competition, head on over to Mistaken Identity.
You don't have to, but I'd appreciate it.
Thanks so much for sticking around, and I'll see y'all in the next update!
