Chapter 11- The Velvet Box

Mallory's P.O.V.

My phone rang with a caller ID that I was very familiar to "Boyfriend". I picked up my phone and started talking.

"Yes?"

"Hello hun!"

"Hey babe," I giggled back at him in response.

"What's up?"

"Not much, just chilling at home yah know"

"Good!"

"Why?"

"Go check your car, then follow that."

"Umm ok bye ba-" I was cut off by the ringing that meant he hung up.

I went out to my car to find a note tucked in on my windshield wiper that simply said (in his child like hand writing I love) don't let me down. At first, I didn't recognize what he was saying, all I knew that it was our song. Then it hit me, we heard it at target and we started dancing in the aisle, ooh memories. I got in my car to find a red rose.

"Awe." I said to my self under my breath.

I started up the engine and raced to Target to find, in the aisle we embarrassed our selfs in, and small note on the same kind of paper I found on my car hiding under a few miscellaneous things. 67963 Washington Ave. Salt Lake City, Utah. Where this could possibly be, I had no idea. I ran out of the store with eyes following my every step. Hopping in my car to restart my semi warm engine up and plugging the address into my phone. I backed out and went to Salt Lake as fast as I could. Even though I had no idea what was going on, I was extremely excited! It took about an hour till I pulled into a park and saw no one.

I got out of my car mumbling to myself, "What am I doing here?" Then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I freaked out to only find Natalie.

"Hey Mal!"

"Umm, hey, what are you doing here?"

"Just follow me!" She grabbed my hand to take me over to who looked like Stacey.

"Hello Mallory!" Stacey came running our way giving me a big hug.

"Hi...?"

"Remember that one sketch. About the dude proposing to his girlfriend and only wanting it to make it go viral in the internet?"

"Viral Proposal?"

"Yup! Just go with that script for now, ok?"

"Umm, ok-"

"Ok! Get ready everyone!" A camera crew came rolling in.

I started getting my hair a little neater, "3, 2, 1, ACTION!"

Stacey started his lines and followed by Jason, the rest of the cast started coming in and acting out our not yet posted sketch. At the end, I  came to find my boyfriend in the middle of a circle of roses. He came closer to me as I came closer to him.

"Matt!" I started crying.

He let out a small giggle, " Mallory Ruthann Everton, I don't care how viral this video goes. All I care about right now is being with you."

Tears started to run down my face more rapidly.

"From the day I met you I knew that you were the one for me."

"SHUT UP AND ASK ME!"

"Mallory Everton, will you let me have the pleasure of calling you my wife?" Matt opened up a small, red, velvet box that held a beautiful right inside of it.

"YES A MILLION TIMES YES!" I took the ring as he placed it on my finger coming in to kiss me.

"I love-"

"I love you so much more Matthew."
