Chapter Five: Make over?...It was Saturday and you know what that means.
Time to rage while playing Call of Duty Black Ops 3! Yay! I got everything set up. The game is in, I've got tons of soda, my hair is in a ponytail I don't know why though, I have on my jean short shorts that I always end up wearing for some reason and, a white tank top on. Let's do this. I sat criss cross right in the middle of the couch and chose my pre set number five.
My favorite one. I got my glitch on with one of the best sniper guns in the game with a fast shooting pistol as my secondary with the supply package for when I get my streaks up and trust me, I'ma hit nuke status. The game started on the worst map possible. Nuke town. What a wonderful way to start my Saturday. I saw one guy on the enemy team and sniped him.
"Ha! Take that you lead eater! No streaks for you or your little friends!" I shouted at the screen. Have I mentioned I get really competitive when it comes to games like these? Well if I haven't, you now know. Half way through the game the doorbell rung.
"Bryce! Go get the door!" I shouted, while trying not to get killed.
"Just a minute!" He shouted back. I heard his foot steps come downstairs and being the rude brother he was, he walked right through the living room, in front of the tv.
"Watch it!!" I shouted at him, sniping another dude. Bryce laughed and went to answer the door. As he did that I tried to do a jump shot, but got blasted by a person with a flamethrower.
"What?! Why do you exist?! Why didn't I use my glitch?! Flame throwers are for the weak! I cannot believe that just happened! My streak! I was over half way to a nuclear! Of course you had a stupid, fudging flame thrower and ruined every gosh dang thing! You derude sandstormer! Go trump yourself! Build some walls! And now your almost at a nuke! Oh player number 8457729 I'm hunting you down and destroying your whole family!" I shouted at the screen, nearly throwing the remote. Yeah, I get really into these games. Its not my fault that the flame thrower is the absolute savage package.
"Wow never seen a girl rage so hard. In fact, I've never actually seen a girl play Call of Duty before," A guy said and I turned my head back to see Skylar, Robyn, Serenity, Miles, Jasper, and Julian. Holy fudge I'm wearing short shorts and Miles is in my house.
"Damn. Amber I'm gonna need to see this side of you everyday," Jasper said and I groaned while rolling my eyes. I looked back at the screen, avoiding Miles's eyes as I continued to play.
Don't get distracted, don't get distracted, you're trying to get a nuclear here.
I told myself over and over again while sending and ariel strike to the enemy's spawn.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked my eyes glued to the tv.
"Just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out today," Skylar said, sitting on the other couch as Julian and Miles sat on either side of me. Now I regret putting on these shorts. I regret all my choices today actually. I regret ever going to that party and being that close to Miles. I regret life.
"Uh I don't know, pretty busy right now," I said, getting my streak up to nineteen with a double kill from my missile.
"Damn. You're better at this then me," Miles said, paying close attention to the tv screen. I glanced at him with a small smirk, then back at the tv.
