Chapter Six: Did I just get asked out by Miles?...I walked into my house, hands full of bags from shopping earlier and dropped them in my room. I sighed and sat on my bed.
"You know I could've carried those in for you," Miles said and I shrugged. After that whole fiasco in the shoe store Miles wouldn't leave my side and he even drove me home so that's why he's here.
"It's fine. It was only clothes," I replied.
"And jewelry. And a little makeup. And some snap backs. And shoes. And other type of accessories," Miles trailed off with a smile.
"Okay. It was a little more than just clothes," I said, grinning.
"Nice room by the way," Miles said.
"Thanks," I said back. My room wasn't much. Just a bed with black sheets, white pillows, and black walls. There was a book shelf in one corner, where my bean bag chair was. I had fairy lights all around the top of the walls, with pictures hanging from them, and a huge Twenty One Pilots logo painted on the wall. Then there was my computer desk, which was on the right of my door, and that thing was so unorganized. I had a lot of posters around my room as well, some from bands, some from video games, and some from movies. Other than that, my room was pretty simple and plain.
"So.... what are you doing tomorrow?"
"Um, I'm going over to my uncles house but I'll be back by three, why?"
"Just wondering if you would like to hang out with me," He said and my heart skipped a beat.
"S-sure," I said, a light blush appearing on my face and Miles smiled.
"Cool. Can I have your number?" He asked and I nodded, currently unable to say anything for some reason. He gave me his phone, and I put my number in it, then gave it back.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow," Miles said and I nodded again. He kissed my cheek, making me freeze, and blush a deeper red, then walked out of my room without another word.
Did I just get asked out by Miles?
I asked myself and slightly smiled. Once I heard the front door close I squealed and broke out into a happy dance. I just got asked out by Miles! And he has my number! And he just kissed me on the cheek! Yay! Wait, gotta be cool about this. I took two deep breaths and calmed down, a huge smile still on my face.
I grabbed my phone and went to messages, going to the group chat I had with Regan and Samantha. I sent a message telling them what just happened and a few minutes later my doorbell rung. I ran downstairs and opened the door. They were there smiling like me, and walked right into my house.
"You just got asked out by Miles!" Samantha squealed and I nodded rapidly.
"I know!"
"And he's like the most popular dude at our school!" Regan said.
"I know!"
"And he kissed you on the cheek!" Samantha squealed.
"I know!"
"I can't believe you got asked out by Miles!" Regan said and I nodded.
"I can't belive it either!" I squealed and the girls pulled me up to my room.
"Okay, rule number one about first dates," Samantha started to say in a serious tone.
"Don't be awkward," Regan said.
"Unless he finds it cute."
"But not too awkward."
"Because then he will leave."
