I whimpered, body shaking as my eyes stayed glued to the ground, watching his shadow move closer to where I was knelt down. "Hello sweetheart," his sickening voice filled my ears, and I forced myself to look up as Negan crouched down in front of me, a wide smirk plastered across his cheeks. "Aren't you a pretty little thing." he commented with a chuckle, tilting his head before speaking once more. "What's your name?" I stayed silent, lower lip quivering slightly, and he clenched his jaw impatiently. "I suggest you answer my question...unless...you're okay with another one of your friends here meeting Lucille." he threatened darkly, clicking his tongue to the roof of his mouth as he made a smacking gesture with the bat, and I narrowed my eyes. "R- River," I spat out, almost in a hiss, and as he opened his mouth to respond he was interrupted. "Cut! Alright guys, that's a wrap for now!" I blinked, Jeffrey's gaze still holding mine as his scowl turned into a small grin. "I don't think we've been formally introduced. I'm Jeffrey," he held his hand out, and I took it quickly, giving it a shake as I returned the smile. "Cae."
