Norm 7:48 am: get your ass up...I'm bringing over breakfast and coffee.
I rolled my eyes sleepily as I read the texts, quickly tapping 'I'm up!' in reply to both men, dropping the phone on the bed with a soft yawn. If I was being completely honest with myself, I dreaded work today, but that could be said for the rest of the cast involved as well. I glanced over at my alarm clock, the bold letters showing it was almost eight-thirty, and with slight hesitation I sat up. I could hear the front door slamming shut, the sound startling me awake as I hopped out of bed, shuffling around to pull on a pair of sweatpants as Norman's voice rang out from downstairs. "I come with donuts!"
I grinned, letting a soft laugh escape my lips as I headed down, brushing the tangles from my hair with my fingers. "You sure know how to get me up," I stated playfully when I found him in the kitchen, crossing my arms over my chest. He chuckled, placing the items on the counter before turning to face me, looking me up and down before replying. "You look...not ready." I feigned an insulted express, holding my arms out as I twirled. "What? You don't think I should go to work like this?" He stepped closer, leaning in as he sniffed. "I don't know...you could at least do us all a favor and shower first." he scrunched his nose up as he spoke, a small grin creeping its way over his lips as I let out a snort, pushing at his chest with a mumbled 'asshole'.
I stepped around him, making a beeline for the box of donuts he'd so graciously brought me. "You nervous about today?" Norman asked as I took a large bite out of the chocolate covered pastry, and I nodded. "Yeah...more than usual, but I know it's because of Steven and Michael." I frowned, and Norman gave me an understanding smile. I finished off the donut, taking a sip of my coffee as he moved into the living room. "Go get ready, we'll head over together when you're done."
