'i'm not a morning person'

(this story is based off a meme i once saw and took a screen shot of, enjoy)

Josh worked in a coffee shop called 'I'm not a morning person'.

All the names of the drinks at the coffee shop were really angry and relatable, for instance 'I'm late for work' was one of them, it was a strong drink with a fair amount of caffeine in it. 

He knew who all the regular customers were, and he also knew exactly what drink they would want. He had worked at this coffee shop for 7 years, he was now 26. He lived in an apartment two minutes away.

It was a normal Tuesday afternoon for Josh, the shop was quiet apart from a few people on laptops or phones. He was leaning against the shop counter, just scrolling through Instagram on his phone, when the bell above the door rang, telling him someone had entered the shop. He quickly shoved his phone in his pocket and stood up at the counter to greet the customer.

Who proceeded to stroll towards the counter was a young man, most likely around his age, and he was fucking beautiful. He was wearing a black zip up hoodie with the zip undone and the hood down. His top underneath was black and stuck to his frame, while he was wearing black skinny jeans and plain black trainers(sneakers for american's). Josh had never seen this man come in the shop before, so it was a new customer, and hopefully a new regular.

Josh was nervous about talking to him, he was worried his voice would get caught in his throat while gazing at the mans beauty, that he would freeze up in front of him and make a fool of himself. He didn't have a choice to talk to the man or not, he was the only cashier working right now. 

The unknown but beautiful man quickly stalked his way over to the counter where Josh was, as he got closer Josh could see his deep brown eyes and found himself quickly getting lost in them. As he stopped in front of the counter josh remembered his training where he had to greet every customer politely.  

"Hi!" He said as enthusiastically as he could, with a wide smile on face like he always did when there was a customer. 

"Uh, hi." The man said quickly, avoiding eye contact and fiddling with his hands under the counter. Josh found how shy and awkward he was extremely cute. On the outside he was just a normal server, but on the inside he was squealing like a kid. A lot. 

"What can i get you today?" Josh asked him, trying to keep his voice from turning into a child-like squeal, maintaining his voice as normal as he could. He just hoped the man didn't notice the small grin creeping its way onto Josh's face, or the way he moved his head slightly to get his bright red hair out of his eyes to see him better.

"Um, can i have a...." He said as he stared at the menu, looking through the very strange range of drinks we had. Josh found his studying face fucking adorable, and suppressed the chuckle that threatened to slip from his mouth. The mans mouth smirked, most likely from one of the beautiful names on the menu, and trust him, some of the names on there are fucking amazing. 

"I'll have a 'Just broke my phone' please." He smiled awkwardly at Josh after saying it, looking at josh in the eyes for a second then averting them somewhere else. The drink he had chosen was one of the more known drinks we do, it had quite a bit of alcohol in it, along with some other ingredients that would get you either drunk or hyper. He also knew it had a lot of sugar in it, which wasn't said on the menu. 

"Sure." Josh said and turned around to make the drink. While he was pouring the alcohol needed for the drink he could hear the man quickly tapping his foot on the ground, like he was really nervous for some reason. It took Josh about a minute to finish the drink, but once he got to the final stage of it he felt really nervous. On the cups was a small box where you had to write the customers name on it in sharpie, this meant he would have to ask the overly cute and adorable but nervous man what his name was. Josh didn't think he would want to answer a question like that.
