After the long day of classes, Eunhyuk was finally able to go to his dorm and meet his roommate, Choi Siwon. He pushed open the door to see a young male about his height, maybe taller, sitting cross-legged on one of the twin beds with what looked like a bible in his hands.

‘Great.’ Eunhyuk thought to himself, ‘Just what I need. A bible banger. Just wonderful.

Not wanting to be rude, Eunhyuk lightly cleared his throat to get his roommate’s attention.

Siwon looked up from his bible and smiled warmly. He closed the book and got up from the bed.

“You must be Lee Hyuk-jae. I’m Choi Siwon, but please, call me Siwon.”

Eunhyuk nodded, finding impossible to not smile back. Despite his earlier assumption, Siwon seemed pretty friendly and not at all like those ‘Jesus’ types that he’d met through his parents.

                “Call me Eunhyuk. Everyone does.”

“Eunhyuk it is then. I’m sorry if I’m being rude but, I try to read at least three scriptures a day as well as pray. I would like to get back to that.”

“Fine with me. I’ll just do my thing and be out in a bit.”

                “Out?”

“Yeah. I have a couple of friends here. Kyuhyun and Sungmin. I’m sure Minnie-hyung is dying to tell me all about his day.”

                “Ah. Sounds like Minnie-hyung.”

                Eunhyuk blinked and Siwon laughed.

“Sungmin and I met at a summer camp last year.”

“You mean the one he got kicked out of because he was caught flirting with the head counselor’s son?”

                Siwon cringed.

“Yes, that one. Poor Taejun didn’t know how to handle himself after that.”

“Poor Taejun?” Eunhyuk knew who Kim Taejun was. He was one of those “Jesus” types, “What about poor Minnie? He was publically humiliated at that camp because he was gay while Taejun got off as being the bewildered victim.”

“Well, Sungmin-hyung knew that Taejunnie-ah wasn’t gay. He probably shouldn’t have flirted with him.”

“Oh, so it’s Minnie’s fault now? If I remember correctly, Taejun was hitting on my best friend. Sungmin was sure he was gay. Then when he was caught flirting with him, Taejun played his little innocent card and got off with just a “Oh you poor baby” while Minnie was ridiculed in front of the entire camp!”

“That wasn’t what it seemed like.”

“Yeah? Well you weren’t there while Sungmin cried himself out on my shoulder. You weren’t there when his cousin tried to “beat the gay out of him”. I was. Kyuhyun was.”

“I didn’t know any of that.” Siwon whispered softly, hanging his head.

“You shouldn’t make accusations then. Even though he’s gay, he’s still a person with feelings. That whole ordeal hurt him. In more ways than one. It took a while for him to realize that there was nothing wrong with him, that he wasn’t a freak. I’m still not fully convinced he’s better yet.”
