Chapter 2

Marshall Lee's P.O.V

   Today was so weird. I met this girl named Marceline. I feel as if she changed my life. We ditch the rest of school and went running. Damn she was even fast in combat boots. We were trying to run as fast as we can to get away from the sun. I was happy I wasn't the only vampire at our high school. I could finally smile with a friend and show my vamp teeth. She was running so fast. The sun must have burning. The only way we can protect ourselves is with sunscreen. But it doesn't last that long. Marceline was so beautiful. No what am I saying I've liked someone like that. We finally got to her house. She grabbed my wrist. Chills went up my spine but good ones. She quickly took me to here room. And I shut the door behind me. "Your fast." I said

"Yeah, my dad always told me to run fast when I was little so nothing would 'get me'." She said making me laugh

"I'm guessing you use to live in a vamp town." She nodded

"Yeah those are my friends Callie and Sam." She pointed a picture of them.

There was a girly girl and a boy. I smiled.

"Is Sam just a vampire?" I asked

"No Callie is too but her mom was a human like mine except I'm half demon of course she is just half vampire like she can't fly, she can't run as fast and she can actually eat food but again only red foods." She said. I saw a tear roll down her face. I wiped it off and she chuckled.

"Sorry just miss them." She got up and went to the kitchen and I followed

"Apple?" She asked

"Sure." She through me an apple and I watch her suck the red out of it

"What?" She asked

"Nothing." I then did the same and she started starring at me

"What?" I asked

"Oh nothing." She winked and went back to her room and I followed

"Nice try you were lost in my eyes." She started to blush

"Back at ya bro." She started to laugh crap I was blushing

"Do we have anything to study?" She asked looking down at her bag

"Um ya Ice king's class." I said

"Do you use product in your hair?" I laughed

"Just a little." She laughed in a warm way

"Haha and is Bubba and Bonnie's hair dyed?" She had a lot of questions

"Haha yeah they got dared to do it but then they liked it anymore questions?" She laughed

"Yup does Fionna have a crush on you?" She asked and I knew that answer

"She does and she likes Finn and Bubba." She laughed

"Wow crush whore." I laughed showing my teeth

"Pretty much she is confusing." I said

"You should ask her out since she likes you so much." She said

"Nah I don't like her that much you should ask Sam out." She gagged

"No he's like my brother plus he's taken by Callie." I cock my head

"No way she's too girly for him." I said she shurgged.

"I was confused too. I was always the third wheel." She said with a half smile

"Did you know the both liked eachother." She nodded

"I'm the one who got them together." I laughed

I then heard the front door open. She smiled. "My dad's home wanna meet him." I laughed

"Sure." We both got up and walked out of her room. She smiled and grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards her dad.

"Hi I'm Marshall Lee friends with Marceline." I smiled

"That's nice." He smiled and walked off

"What's that suppose to mean?" I asked

"He thinks your okay." She laughed and we went back to her room

"Give me your number." I said

"Alright thrusty boy." She laughed making me blush. Damn it.

"Give me your phone and I'll put everyone's number in it." She handed me her phone. It was a iphone 4s we had the same phone. She had a skull case on it.

"Nice case." I said

"Thanks I got more phone cases." She smiled

"Here's my phone." I had a red and black case on it

"What's your password?" We asked at the same time and I started to blush.

I took my phone and put the password in and we switch phones. I put all the numbers in and then she tapped on my shoulder.

"Come on let's talk a selfie." I laughed and we took the picture

"Text me that photo." She said

"Alright." I said laughing

"What time is it?" I asked

"Seven wow time went by fast need me to walk you home." She winked

"Haha I'll be fine." We both walked out of her room to the front door

"Okay see you tomorrow Marshall." She asked

"Defintly Marceline." I winked walking out the door my phone rang

I got a text from Marshall. Wait I'm Marshall oh I have her phone.

I went back to her door. She probably took my password off my phone and of course I did the same. She came out and we switched phones. "Nice move Marshall Lee steal my phone." She winked

"Back at ya bra." I said making her laugh

"Night." She said closing the door

I was about to fly back home when I heard a someone behind me. I turned and saw Fionna."Hey Fi why you outside." She started to blush

"You know just to get some fresh air and I had a question to ask you." She said

"Spit out." I said

"Will you go to the d-da-dance with me." She asked looking at the ground

"Um Fionna I already told you I don't wanna hurt you and I just wanna stay friends." I saw a tear run down her face

"I see I'll just see you tomorrow." She ran off

I finally left. I felt pretty bad about saying no. She liked me and I didn't like her back. Plus in vampire years I'm way too old for her. But in human years just a year. And plus I not what she's looking for. She really wants an adventurer us guy not a bad boy. Now Marceline I bet she was looking for that. I finally got to my house and went through my window and got changed in more comfortable clothes. I layed in bed and fell in a deep sleep.
