··· dedication
for everyone who has ever felt invisible ··· notes joy secretly works at helping hotline, a number to call when you want to talk about anything. • they are both college sophomores. now, i have no idea what college sophomores are like but the thing is, I wanted my characters to have more freedom than someone who lives at home. • both girls are pretty well off. they don't have enough money to be labeled as stereotypical rich kids, but aren't that far away. • olivia's mom was widowed when olivia was in fifth grade. her dad died from leukemia and her mom turned to drugs as an outlet. she's in rehab and olivia's official guardian is her aunt, a surgeon who never talks to olivia. • lowercase is intentional • the story is told in third person limited, with joy's thoughts. ••• copyright @storiesbyarushi 2017
